How to get the Luna Lovegood Echo
Luna Lovegood’s Echo, like all other echoes in Harry Potter Magic Awakened, can be obtained in the Forbidden Forest. In particular, she can be obtained in this game mode using the following two methods:
- Solo Mode: After reaching level 10 you can encounter Luna Lovegood as a reward from the Flying Ford Anglia. The probability of getting the Echo is the same as for any other Echo, so you might need to try several times to get it.
- Team Exploration: After completing the Woods (Echo) challenge you can choose a specific Echo as a reward. From difficulty level 2, the Luna Lovegood Echo will begin to appear as a possible choice.
Is the Luna Lovegood Echo Good?

Yes, Luna Lovegood Echo is among the Best Echoes in Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. Her unique and powerful mechanic lets you transform a creature card into different magical creatures based on the spells you cast. This grants you huge flexibility in Duels to come up with numerous counters to your opponent, making Luna Lovegood a fun and satisfying Echo to use.
How Does the Luna Lovegood Echo Work?
The Luna Lovegood Echo transforms the leftmost card in your hand into a magical creature card. This creature card remains in your hand even after you summon it. As you cast spells, the creature card levels up and transforms into different creatures based on the level of the spells used.
Low-cost cards (less than three mana) do not increase your creature card’s level. Instead, they modify the creature, making it more versatile. This flexibility allows you to choose the creature you want to cast, especially when your creature card reaches level six.
At level six, you can choose between Baby Antipodean Opaleye and Piertotum Locomotor. Baby Antipodean Opaleye is effective against groups of creatures, while Piertotum Locomotor is better against spell-focused enemies. Once your creature reaches the 7-cost summon stage, the next spell you cast transforms it into a mighty Thestral. This powerful creature can inflict significant damage anywhere on the field.
How to Level Up Your Magical Creature Card

To level up your magical creature card, cast spells with different mana costs. Each mana cost corresponds to a specific level increase. Your creature’s maximum level is 7.
- 3 or 4-cost spells: Level up by 1
- 5 or 6-cost spells: Level up by 2
- 7-cost spell: Level up by 3
How to Use the Luna Lovegood Echo Effectively

For optimal performance, it’s advisable to construct a spell-exclusive deck. Spells have the potential to level up your creature card, expanding your tactical options.
Your creature gains the ability to split after attacking 5 times, creating an identical copy of itself. This can significantly increase your board presence and put your opponent under immense pressure. That’s why you should incorporate protective spells like Protego Totalum, ensuring its survival long enough to execute its splitting ability.
For most of the game, it is important to control how much your creature card’s level increases. This control allows you to set up powerful combos that deal a lot of damage. For example, using a control spell right before transforming your creature card into Thestral lets you deal maximum damage with Luna Lovegood’s echo-exclusive creature.
Cards like the Niffler help maintain MP, however, as soon as possible, replace the Niffler with the Golden Snitch. The Golden Snitch is not only more effective, but it also increases the level of your creature cards.
