Types of Equipment
There are 3 different types of Equipment in King’s Choice; Badges, Weapons, and Armor. Each of these also comes in a different rarity with the base rarity being Novice. As your Knight progresses up the rank, the rarity of the Equipment required to upgrade them will increase. To get higher rarity Equipment you can compose a certain number of Equipment from the rank below. In the table below you will find all the Equipment rarities in ascending order as well as the Equipment required to compose it:

What are Knight Ranks
As touched on in the introduction, a Knights rank determines their level cap and their talent level cap. Each Knight starts at the rank of Housecarl with a level cap of 100 and a talent cap of 50. To upgrade to the next rank of Novice will require 1 Novice Knight’s Badge, 1 Novice Knight’s Weapon, and 1 Novice Knight’s Armor and in turn will increase their level cap to 150 and talent cap to 80. As a reminder from our King’s Choice Knight Guide, the below table outlines each rank and its associated level cap.

Rank Talent EXP
As seen in the table above, as well as increasing your Knight’s level cap, upgrading their rank also increases their talent level cap. In addition to this, they will also experience a small gain in their Talent EXP with each new rank. This is a great help in improving their Talents, especially during State Power Ranking Events. Equipment Required for Each Rank
At first, this is easygoing, but as you progress things will start to get very tricky as the requirement for rarer and rarer equipment increases significantly. Indeed, to compose 1 piece of Diamond Equipment will require a total of 6,480 of the same Novice Equipment. How to Get Equipment
Although it may seem like you have plenty of Equipment when you first start playing King’s Choice, it will quickly become apparent that you do not! Indeed, as you start to hit the ranks of Silver and Golden, you will notice a stark lack of resources. As such, it is important to start accumulating Equipment from day 1 and, in addition, as mentioned in our Beginner Tips, only use it on the Best Knights.
