In King’s Choice, Knight Power is perhaps one of the most important metrics in determining how successful you will be in Events. Here we have two calculators that will help you work out exactly what your Knight’s Power should be based on their Talents, Level, and any Book Bonuses they have. The first King’s Choice Knight Power Calculator simply works out the power of a Knight and what power will be gained by increasing different metrics, whilst the second calculator allows you to compare 2 Knights to see which one offers the best return in terms of power.

Why Knight Power is Important
Knight Power is crucial to determining how well you perform, and as such how high you place for rewards, in almost all events in King’s Choice. Indeed, it will seriously help increase your score in Events such as Scarlet Beauty, War of Conquest, Nibelungen Treasure, and School of Athens. In addition, increasing your Knight Power is an easy way to increase your State Power for State Power Growth Ranking Events and as a result, also the resources gained from Collection activities and better performance in Outpost battles.
How to Increase Knight Power
Somewhat strangely, not all of a Knight’s attributes contribute towards their total Knight Power. Indeed, there are 4 key elements to focus on in order to increase the power of your Knights, these are as follows:
- Knight Level
- Strength Talent
- Strength Book Bonus
- Mount Power Buff
Therefore, although increases in your Knight Aura (non-strength), Leadership, Intellect, and Charisma will have an impact on State Power, they will not increase Knight Power. However, despite this, typically the Best Knights will also have the highest potential in terms of Knight Power. How to use the Knight Power Calculator
To use this King’s Choice Knight Power Calculator you need to know where to get the elements outlined in the previous section. Knight Level is easy, it is simply the Knight’s level. For Strength Talent navigate to the Knight’s Talent page and sum up the total value of all their Strength Talents. This is shown in the image below:
To find a Knights Strength Book Bonus, first click on the small “!” icon next to their total attribute value when on the info tab of a Knight. The Strength Book Bonus value is found under Book Bonus next to the Strength category. The image below shows an example of this:
Lastly, the Mount Power Buff is only relevant for Knights that have a Mount assigned to them. To find the value, click on the Mounts icon when viewing the Knight and you will see a value next to the Power Buffs category. An example of this is again shown in the image below:
Once you have found all these values, you are ready to move on to the Knight Power Calculator. Simply input all the values in the appropriate category and hit calculate to see what the Knight’s power should be. You can also input values under the additional Level, Talent, and Strength Book Bonus sections to work out the additional Knight Power gain by increasing these by X amount.

Knight Power Increase Comparison Calculator
The following calculator allows you to compare 2 Knights to work out which one should have their Strength Talent, Knight Level, or Strength Book Bonus increased by X amount. This compares the potential power gains for each Knight based on the inputted Strength increases, allowing you to manage your resources more efficiently by directing them to the Knight which will give the best relative return. It should be noted that Mount Power Buff is not included here as it has a 1:1 relationship with Knight Power.
