When is the Hall of Chiefs Event?
The Hall of Chiefs Event only occurs at the start of a new State, with each new instance beginning about 2 weeks after the first. The first Hall of Chiefs event lasts for 5 days, with the next 2 lasting 6 and 7 days respectively. During Hall of Chiefs, you are able to win Jeronimo Shards by placing in the top 10. Although he is a Generation 1 Hero, he remains viable long into the game, especially in Bear Hunt, leaving him as a much sought-after Hero. After your first State of Power event, the Hall of Chiefs event will be replaced by the King of Icefield event which has better rewards and will see a new Hero on offer as a top 10 reward depending on the current Generation of your State.
How Does the Event Work?

As mentioned in the previous section, the Hall of Chiefs event only occurs at the start of a new state. The time between each iteration of the event is about 2 weeks. The first time it appears it lasts 5 days, 6 days the second time, and 7 days each subsequent time after this. Each day represents a new stage of the event with players able to earn points in different ways such as by conducting research, training Troops, using Hero Shards, and more.
Each stage of the event has its own individual ranking with rewards paid out to the top 100 when the stage ends and the next one commences. Rankings are based on a player’s total score accumulated during the stage versus all other players in the State. There is also a total ranking for the whole event where a player’s total score across all stages is accumulated. Again, the top 100 players are paid out rewards in this category. Finally, there are also 4 point milestone rewards available to be earned for each stage of the event.

Rewards

As mentioned in the previous section of this Whiteout Survival Hall of Chiefs Event Guide, there are rewards available for rankings in each stage of the event and a final, better reward, for your ranking for the event as a whole. On top of this, there are 4 point milestone rewards available for each stage of the event. Each of these reward categories offers a huge number of Resources, Speedups, Gems, and, even better, Mythic Skill Manuals to players who meet the requirements! Although the goal most players have is hitting the top 10 overall to get Jeronimo Shards, this really isn’t attainable unless you spend money, but the other rewards make it worth your while to participate anyway!
Tips for Scoring High

Unless you are spending money on the game, it is unlikely that you will place in the overall top 10 of the Whiteout Survival Hall of Chiefs Event to win Jeronimo Shards. Nevertheless, there are certain strategies you can implement to ensure you are placing in the top 100, and maybe even the top 30, for each stage, to win a good amount of Gems, Speedups, and Resources. These are as follows:
- Examine the tables above to see which stages will appear in your next Whiteout Survival Hall of Chiefs event. This will give you an idea of the resources you may need to consume to score points. Make sure to horde these and then use them all in that stage for maximum points. For example, in stages where points are earned by using Shards, save all your Shards until this stage and then ascend all your Heroes.
- For the train troops stages, keep in mind that you can also earn points by upgrading. The points earned are the difference in points between training Troops of the corresponding levels. The rate you earn will balance out so it doesn’t really matter which you do and as mentioned in our Tips for Beginners and PvP Tips, you should always be upgrading your low-level troops before training new ones.
- During the Hero Development Stages, spinning the Lucky Wheel offers a massive 90,000 points. Save up your Gems for this and aim to max the Wheel out. As mentioned in our Tips for Beginners, the Lucky Wheel is also a great place to get some of the Best F2P Heroes from each Generation.
- For the Gathering Stages, make sure to use your Gathering Speed Boost buffs to ensure you are gathering as much as possible for maximum points. Although the points for this activity look small, it quickly scales if you are gathering millions at a time. Check out our Gathering Guide for more help with speeding up your gathering.
- Even if you are not trying to rank well, make sure you hit the points milestones for each stage. This is a great source of Gems and Skill Manuals, regardless of the ranking rewards.
- Use our Troop Training Calculator to work out how many points you can earn from building a certain number of Troops during the event.
