Is Molly a good Hero in Whiteout Survival?

Molly is probably the first Mythic Hero that you will unlock and max out due to the ease with which her Shards can be obtained via Intel Missions and Epic Recruitment. For F2P, or low-spending, players, she is also the only Mythic Lancer Hero you will have access to until Mia becomes available from the Lucky Wheel during Generation 3. In these early Generations, she can be used almost anywhere, whether that be on your backline in Exploration and Arena or leading a rally in Expeditions such as PvP. Indeed, it is this easy attainability and versatility that marks her out as one of the Best Heroes for F2P Players.

However, it should be noted that she should not be used for joining the rallies of other players in competitive gameplay. This is because her 1st Expedition Skill, Calling of the Snow, does not buff the damage of all Troops but instead adds a small stun chance that relies too heavily on RNG. Whilst this is still useful, the first Expedition Skills from Heroes like Jessie and Jeronimo outmatch her here.

Super Snowball

Molly launches a Super Snowball which plops down to deal Attack * [180% / 198% / 216% / 234% / 252%] Area of Effect Damage and freezes them for 1.5s.

Frost Ambush

Molly ambushes the enemy with her great camouflage skills, dealing Attack * [150% / 165% / 180% / 195% / 210%] damage.

Youthful Persistence

Molly loves a challenge, gaining + [20% / 30% / 40% / 50% / 60%] Attack Speed under 50% Health.

Calling of the Snow

Molly leads a charge as overwhelming as an avalanche, granting all troops’ attack a [4% / 8% / 12% / 16% / 20%] chance of stunning the target for 1 turn.

Ice Dominion

Molly excels in snowy terrains, granting all troops’ attack a 50% chance of increasing damage dealt by [10% / 20% / 30% / 40% / 50%].

Youthful Rage

Hell hath no fury like an angry Molly, increasing damage dealt by [5% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25%] for all troops.

Gear

As a Mythic Hero, Molly has the unique ability to equip the usual four pieces of Gear while also boasting a fifth, special Exclusive Gear. This Exclusive Gear comes with additional skills that unlock and improve as it is upgraded, making the Hero an even more formidable choice for your team. Yeti Spirit

Exclusive Gears have stat boosts and Exclusive Skills applied to the Hero, adding extra effects and buffs in battle. Both of these aspects for this Hero are outlined in more detail in the next sections.

Stats

Exclusive Gear can be upgraded to level 10 by using special Exclusive Gear Widgets. When upgraded, it improves the stats of the Hero for Exploration game modes, its power, and buffs to the Hero’s main Troop Type in Expedition game modes.

Skills

Exclusive Gears possess special skills that increase up to a maximum level of 5 as the Gear is upgraded. These are outlined below with the first skill only active in Exploration game modes and the second only active in Expedition game modes.

Modified Launcher

Molly wields a modified version of the launcher, boosting damage dealt by [10% / 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%].

Snowy Blessing

With the blessing of the snow, Defender Troops’ Lethality is increased by [5% / 7.5% / 10% / 12.5% / 15%].
