Is Sergey a good Hero in Whiteout Survival?

In Generation 1, Sergey will be your go-to Infantry Hero unless you have spent some money and picked up Natalia or Jeronimo. However, even then, they make a great team on your frontline in Exploration game modes such as Arena. In addition, his first Expedition Skill, Defenders’ Edge, easily makes Sergey one of the Best Expedition Heroes in Whiteout Survival. In particular, it grants all allied Troops in the battle a huge amount of longevity due to its 20% damage reduction buff making him a great defensive Hero for PvP and Crazy Joe. All in all, Sergey is also one of the Best F2P Heroes in Whiteout Survival, with Shards that are easily obtainable for upgrading and skills that make him an indispensable Hero when reinforcing.

Shielded Strike

Sergey gives an enemy a solid whack with his heavy shield, knocking the target back while dealing Attack * [200% / 220% / 240% / 260% / 280%] Area of Effect damage.

Joint Defense

Sergey can organize strong perimeters, increasing all friendly hero Defense by [5% / 7.5% / 10% / 12.5% / 15%].

Shield Block

Sergey trades in his shield for an upgraded model, reducing damage taken by [10% / 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%].

Defenders’ Edge

Gear

As an Epic Hero, Sergey can have just the usual 4 pieces of Gear applied. However, as an Infantryman, you should focus on upgrading the equipment that improves Hero Defense, Escort Defense, and Infantry Health: Gauntlets and Belt.
