Is Smith a good Hero in Whiteout Survival?

As a Rare Hero, all players will pick Smith up very early on in a new State and, despite his low rarity, he will continue to be a valuable member of your roster deep into the game. This is driven by his primary role as one of the Best Gathering Heroes in Whiteout Survival. In particular, his second Expedition Skill, Craftsmanship, generates most of this utility by improving the gathering speed of iron by up to 25%. On top of this, he can also prove useful as a F2P Hero in early game Exploration and Arena due to his role as an Infantry Hero. Put him on the frontline to soak up damage and he’ll do a decent job of protecting your lead damage dealers at the back. However, he will quickly outlive his usefulness here as you progress and you’ll want to replace him with one of the Best Exploration Heroes that the game has to offer.
