Is Zinman a good Hero in Whiteout Survival?

Whilst Zinman is considered quite poor in terms of his Expedition battle potential, he does have 1 skill that has some huge long-term benefits. In particular, this is his 2nd Expedition Skill, Bastionist, which decreases construction costs and speeds up construction by up to 15%. This alone makes him a great Hero to pick up, making your city progress much cheaper and faster for as long as you play the game. In addition, he is very F2P friendly due to his availability via the Lucky Wheel, allowing all players to get him up to 4 stars. Finally, during the first couple of Generations, he is also very useful in Exploration and Arena, with skills that can both deal great damage and buff his durability.

Woodpecker

Exclusive Gears have stat boosts and Exclusive Skills applied to the Hero, adding extra effects and buffs in battle. Both of these aspects for this Hero are outlined in more detail in the next sections.

Stats

Exclusive Gear can be upgraded to level 10 by using special Exclusive Gear Widgets. When upgraded, it improves the stats of the Hero for Exploration game modes, its power, and buffs to the Hero’s main Troop Type in Expedition game modes.

Skills

Exclusive Gears possess special skills that increase up to a maximum level of 5 as the Gear is upgraded. These are outlined below with the first skill only active in Exploration game modes and the second only active in Expedition game modes.

Overclocked Nail Gun

Zinman’s Nail Gun enters Overcharged Mode, increasing his Attack by [8% / 12% / 16% / 20% / 24%].

Defend to Attack

Zinman constructs an archer tower, increasing Defender Troops’ Attack by [5% / 7.5% / 10% / 12.5% / 15%].
