The Whiteout Survival Tundra Trade Route runs in tandem with the Alliance Showdown Event. Both these events complement each other with activity in Tundra Trade Route earning you Alliance Showdown Points and rewards in Alliance Showdown granting Truck Vouchers. Despite this overlap, both these events operate quite differently, with Tundra Trade Route possessing some PvP elements whilst Alliance Showdown is more akin to King of Icefield. Join us in this Whiteout Survival Tundra Trade Route Guide as we explore all the elements of this event, provide some tips on maximizing rewards, and more.

Overview
As mentioned in the introduction of this Whiteout Survival Guide, the Tundra Trade Route Event runs in tandem with Alliance Showdown. During each day the event runs, you are tasked with escorting up to 4 trucks with your Heroes and Troops between 2 trade routes in the Tundra. Along the way, you must defend against raids by other players and once you get to the destination you will earn rewards. In addition, you can raid the trucks of other players and attempt to steal some of the goods they are transporting. Raiding and escorting trucks also grants you with points in the Alliance Showdown Event.
Escorting Trucks

Escorting trucks sees you sending a selection of your Heroes and Troops alongside a truck as they attempt to transport goods between 2 trade points. Upon reaching the target destination, you will be granted rewards based on the truck’s rarity with the time it takes to transport a truck also depending on its rarity. However, be warned that other players may raid your truck and steal some of the goods you are transporting, reducing the rewards gained upon reaching the destination.
Each day you can escort up to 4 trucks to their destination with a maximum of 2 at a time. Trucks are open to 2 successful raids each with failed raids not counting towards this total. Therefore, each truck is open to several attacks during its journey until the maximum of 2 successful raids is met. Trucks come in the following 4 rarities:
- N
- R
- SR
- SSR
Escort Squad
When selecting a truck to escort, you can pick 3 Heroes to go with it. They will also take Troops with them however the exact composition will always be equalized. During a defense of the truck, Heroes will use their Expedition Skills, therefore make sure you only send Heroes that have these skills focused on combat. For example, Gina would be a bad choice here due to skills that simply increase march speed and reduce stamina costs when Beasts and Polar Terrors. It is also worth noting that any Heroes that you use to escort a truck cannot be used to escort another truck until they have completed their mission. However, they can still be used elsewhere in the game, even for raiding trucks within this event.
Rewards
As mentioned earlier in this Whiteout Survival Tundra Trade Route Guide, higher rarity trucks grant better rewards upon reaching their destination, though the exact contents of trucks are random. Rewards include Speedups, Pet Materials, Charm Designs, Gems, General Hero Shards, Stamina, Resources, and more. Nevertheless, one consistent reward in each truck is Alliance Showdown Points with these helping you score better in the Alliance Showdown Event. The number of points gained depends on the rarity of the escorted truck as follows:
| Rarity | Points |
|---|---|
| N | 2,500 |
| R | 5,000 |
| SR | 7,500 |
| SSR | 10,000 |
Upon being successfully raided by another player, the rewards in the truck will be randomly reduced with the player who raided you getting these rewards instead.
Refresh

When selecting a truck to escort, you will be given the option to refresh it for a chance to escort a higher-rarity truck. The first refresh is free with subsequent refreshes costing Truck Vouchers which are obtained via Alliance Showdown. If you run out of Truck Vouchers then you can use Gems instead, with each subsequent Gem refresh costing an increasing amount. After 6 refreshes, you are guaranteed to get an SSR truck, with the chances of higher rarity trucks increasing with each refresh.
| Refresh | N | R | SR | SSR |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 50% | 35% | 10% | 5% |
| 2 | 40% | 35% | 15% | 10% |
| 3 | 30% | 35% | 20% | 15% |
| 4 | 20% | 35% | 25% | 20% |
| 5 | 10% | 35% | 30% | 25% |
| 6 | 0% | 0% | 0% | 100% |
Following a successful escort, the next time you select a truck in the same slot, the odds of getting each rarity will reset. In addition, you will also gain another free refresh.
Assistance
When escorting a truck, you can ask for alliance assistance for one escort mission a day. This allows you to make use of any higher-powered Heroes that your Alliance members may have offered up for help. You can also offer a squad from your own roster that your allies can make use of. Requesting assistance does not reduce your reward but the player who gives the assistance gains a small additional reward.
Raiding Trucks

As with escorting trucks, you are able to raid up to 4 trucks a day. Unsuccessful raids do not count towards this limit. When selecting a truck to raid, you will be offered a selection of 8 different trucks currently on the move across many different States. Each truck can be raided a maximum of 2 times with each successful raid granting you a small amount of their available rewards at random.
Selecting a Truck
When selecting a truck to raid, you ideally want to pick those that are of the highest rarity as these will offer the best rewards after a successful raid. However, do take note of the truck’s power. If this is significantly higher than your own, then it is unlikely you will be successful. Of course, there is no real downside, aside from a small cooldown, from giving it a go anyway. Any trucks with 3 letters in between 2 square brackets are trucks of the Alliance you are facing in Alliance Showdown. These should be a priority target to attempt to steal some of the Alliance Showdown Points they are escorting.
Refresh
You can refresh the view of the 8 available trucks to be raided with a fresh set of 8. However, there are a limited number here and you will simply need to wait for these to be cleared by other players and be replaced by new trucks if there are none suitable for you to raid.
Tips for Better Rewards
- Wait until after 2pm server time before you start escorting trucks. Like challenges in Arena, most players will use their daily raids first thing, therefore the longer you wait before sending out your trucks, the less likely you are to be raided.
- Always target SSR trucks to escort and raid and don’t be scared to use Gems if you are only 1 or 2 refreshes off a guaranteed SSR. The better rewards are well worth the small Gem cost.
- When raiding, try to attack the trucks of the players in the Alliance you are facing in Alliance Showdown. This will hamper their ability to accumulate Alliance Showdown Points thereby increasing your chances of victory in this event too.
- Make sure you are getting all the Daily Chests from Alliance Showdown each day for the Truck Vouchers. These are vital for improving the quality of the trucks you are escorting.
