A new time-limited event, Lab Assistants in Position, has just begun in Honkai: Star Rail! As part of V1.1: Galactic Roaming, this event will hopefully be another great way to obtain Stellar Jades! Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position
The Lab Assistants In Position Event is active from 10am server time on 19 June 2023 to 3.59am server time on 3 July 2023. To take part, players must be at least Trailblaze Level 21 and have completed Jarilo-VI — The Past Will Return as an Avalanche.
In this event, Wen Shiling, an NPC located in Herta Space Station, reveals a new research topic every day. There are 7 in total, with each requiring different materials recovered from fighting monsters. The Trailblazer must seek these out and submit them, helping her out with the research.
As this is a time-limited event, make sure you don’t waste any time in completing the 7 research topics. Event rewards will include Stellar Jades, ascension materials, and consumables in addition to the results of Wen Shiling’s research and other vital advancement resources in Honkai: Star Rail! In the next sections, we cover each of the research topics and how to complete them.
This Leg Is Not A Leg
The first research topic in the Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Event is called This Leg Is Not A Leg. For this one, Wen Shiling requires you to deliver her 3 items so that she can complete her experiment. These are as follows:
- 1x Thief’s Instinct – can be found by fighting Antimatter Legion enemies, completing assignments, at the Embers Exchange, or with the Omni-Synthesizer.
- 1x Virtual Particle – can be found through assignments, destroying Herta Space Station destructibles, or purchasing them from the Xianzhou Luofu.
- 1x Metal – can be found through assignments, destroying Herta Space Station destructibles, or purchasing them from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
Water Nourishes All
The second research topic in the Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Event is called Water Nourishes All. For this one, Wen Shiling requires you to deliver her another 3 items so that she can complete her experiment. These are as follows:
- 1x Thief’s Instinct – can be found through fighting Antimatter Legion enemies, completing assignments, at the Embers Exchange, or in the Omni-Synthesizer.
- 1x Protein Rice – can be found through assignments, fighting Storage Zone Voidrangers, or by purchasing from the Xianzhou Luofu.
- 1x Solid Water – can be found through assignments, destroying Jarilo-VI destructibles, or by purchasing them from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
Blaze in Space
The third research topic in the Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Event is called Blaze in Space. For this one, Wen Shiling requires you to deliver her another 3 items so that she can complete her experiment. These are as follows:
- 1x Extinguished Core – can be found through fighting Fragmentum monsters, completing assignments, at the Embers Exchange, or in the Omni-Synthesizer.
- 1x Core of Ice – can be found through fighting Everwinter Shadewalkers or purchasing from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
- 1x Phlogiston – can be found through fighting Flamespawns or purchasing from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop
Burnt in a Blink
The fourth research topic in the Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Event is called Burnt in a Blink. For this one, Wen Shiling requires you to deliver her another 3 items so that she can complete her experiment. These are as follows:
- 1x Extinguished Core – can be found through fighting Fragmentum monsters, completing assignments, at the Embers Exchange, or in the Omni-Synthesizer.
- 1x Quantum Ripples – can be found through fighting enemies in Rivet Town or purchasing from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
- 1x Extinguished Core – can be found through fighting Fragmentum monsters, completing assignments, at the Embers Exchange, or in the Omni-Synthesizer.
The Unknown
The fifth research topic in the Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Event is called The Unknown. For this one, Wen Shiling requires you to deliver her another 3 items so that she can complete her experiment. These are as follows:
- 1x Ancient Part – can be found through fighting Automatons, completing assignments, at the Embers Exchange, or in the Omni-Synthesizer.
- 1x Meteoric Alloy – can be found through fighting Automatons or by purchasing from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
- 1x Metal – can be found through assignments, destroying Herta Space Station destructibles, or purchasing them from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
Face the Unknown
The sixth research topic in the Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Event is called Face the Unknown. For this one, Wen Shiling requires you to deliver her another 3 items so that she can complete her experiment. These are as follows:
1x Ancient Part – can be found through fighting Automatons, completing assignments, at the Embers Exchange, or in the Omni-Synthesizer.
1x Mechanical Parts – can be found through fighting Automatons or by purchasing from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
1x Basic Ingredients – can be found through completing assignments or by purchasing from the Jarilo-VI Administrative District Shop.
Rangers Need Food
The seventh and final research topic in the Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Event is called Rangers Need Food. For this one, Wen Shiling requires you to deliver her another 3 items so that she can complete her experiment. These are as follows:
1x Virtual Particle – can be found through assignments, destroying Herta Space Station destructibles, or by purchasing them from the Xianzhou Luofu.
1x Leaf of Imaginary – can be found through defeating Flamespawns or by purchasing them from the Xianzhou Luofu Grocery Stand.
1x Protein Rice – can be found through defeating Voidranger: Reavers or by purchasing from the Xianzhou Luofu Grocery Stand.
Honkai: Star Rail Lab Assistants In Position Completion Reward
Once you have completed all 7 research topics, Wen Shilling will reward you with a special item for helping her out. This will be the All Good Potion recipe which regenerates 50% of a single ally’s Max Energy. This is a pretty good item and when combined with all the other rewards you get during the event, makes it well worth doing.
