Dislyte Esper Guides: Ginny (Hestia)

Originating from Hestia, the Greek goddess of hearth, homes, and hospitality, Ginny is a Legendary Inferno Fighter Esper. She makes use of two unique buffs that boost her ATK significantly and make Espers who attack her take huge True Damage.

Ginny Details

Is Ginny a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Ginny is a real powerhouse when it comes to PvP such as Point War and Knockout. From her Captain Ability alone, she is providing a huge 40% ATK buff to her team in these game modes. However, it doesn’t stop there with her broad kit which adds both offense and defense capabilities.

If you have been hit with some debuffs at the start of battle then you should lead out with her second ability, Simmer Flame. This dispels all debuffs on Ginny and grants her Chef’s Zest if she already has 3 stacks of Intense Heat, otherwise she gains 1 stack of Intense Heat. She gains 1 stack of Intense Heat at the start of combat. These buffs are unique to Ginny and are seriously stacked!

With Intense Heat, every 20 ATK gap between Ginny and her target increases her damage dealt. It also causes her to heal 60% of lost HP when taking a hit and then deals True Damage to the attacker. In addition, each stack of Intense Heat increases her ATK by another 10%.

Intense Heat pairs brilliantly with Taunt as she is able to endure hits for her team whilst dealing damage to the attacker at the same time. Both her basic ability, Double Fire, and her third ability, Stir-Fry Heat, can inflict the enemy with Taunt. Stir-Fry Heat will also heal Ginny for a massive 80% of her lost HP improving her survivability even further.

With Chef’s Zest, Ginny’s ATK is increased as well as granting her a 100% counterattack chance which expires after a successful counter. This is very useful for landing more Taunts and it is also worth considering giving her Avatara Equipment to allow her to counter more often for this very purpose. It also grants ATK Up if Ginny gains duplicate Chef’s Zest buffs.

Ginny Abilities

In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. Double Fire

• Level 1: Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 100% ATK. Inflicts Taunt for 1 turn. Taunt can’t be resisted if the target doesn’t have any buffs. This ability won’t Crit.
• Level 2: Damage increased to 110%.
• Level 3: Damage increased to 115%.
• Level 4: Damage increased to 120%.
• Level 5: Damage increased to 125%.
• Level 6: Damage increased to 130%.

Simmer Flame

• Level 1: Dispels all debuffs on Ginny. Gains Chef’s Zest if Ginny already has 3 stacks of Intense Heat, otherwise gains 1 stack of Intense Heat at the start of Combat.
• Level 2: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn.
• Level 3: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn.

Stir-Fry Heat

• Level 1: Attacks 1 enemy 5 times. Damage per hit: 52% ATK. Each hit steals 1 buff. The last hit inflicts Taunt for 3 turns. Taunt can’t be resisted if the target doesn’t have any buffs. Heals after attacking. Healing: 80% lost HP. This ability won’t Crit. Cooldown on Stir-Fry Heat is reduced by 1 turn if the target has no buff to be stolen in the first place.
• Level 2: Damage increased to 54%.
• Level 3: Damage increased to 56%.
• Level 4: Damage increased to 58%.
• Level 5: Damage increased to 60%.
• Level 6: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn.

Ginny Captain Ability

Increases ally ATK in Point War and Knockout by 40%.

Ginny Ascension

All Espers in Dislyte can be further ascended to improve their stats starting from level 1. They can then be ascended again at levels 10/20/30/40/50 up to a total of 6 Ascensions. For more details on Ascending your Espers, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

• Phase 1: ATK +70, HP +340, DEF +25
• Phase 2: HP +950, ATK +25, DEF +25
• Phase 3: Upgraded Stir-Fry Heat
• Phase 4: SPD +5
• Phase 5: ATK +15%
• Phase 6: HP +20%

Ginny Resonance

Ginny Divinate

You can collect Divinates for an Esper to increase their Divinate tier up to a maximum tier of 6. You can learn more about this feature in our Dislyte Esper Guide. The below shows the buffs Ginny receives at her maximum Divinate tier and maximum Divinate level:

• ATK +900
• HP +3,815
• Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +30%
• When the bearer has Chef’s Zest, Stir-Fry Heat’s Final Damage +30%

Ginny Equipment

To take full advantage of Ginny’s Intense Heat buff you’ll want to maximize her ATK so as to increase the ATK difference with her enemies. The higher the difference, the greater her damage will scale. in order to boost her damage even more.

Adding a Counter chance will also help to improve damage further by inflicting more Taunts on the enemy. When an enemy then attacks Ginny they will take True Damage that scales on her ATK. It is also therefore important to ensure you also top up her HP with secondary stats. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

• War: ATK +30%
• Avatara: Grants a 25% chance of using Counterattack upon taking damage.

Lastly, Ginny’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize ATK BONUS, HP BONUS, and SPD.
