How to Teleport and Get Teleporters in Whiteout Survival

Like in all the Best 4X Strategy Mobile Games, teleporting your city is a key tool at your disposal for all sorts of activities such as staying close to your Alliance, as covered in our Beginner Tips, taking part in PvP, capturing Fortresses, and much more. However, for new players to the game, it is not always that clear how it works with a multitude of different teleport options open to players. Indeed, even for older players it can be difficult to decide which teleport to use, with certain teleports costing vastly more than others. Here we cover exactly How to Teleport in Whiteout Survival, all the different ones available to you, and how you can get them in the most cost-efficient way.

Teleporting Restrictions

Unfortunately, you cannot just teleport anywhere you want at all times. First, you must meet a few criteria before the game allows you to move. These are as follows:

  • Have no troops outside the city – for example, if you have troops Gathering or marching somewhere, you must recall them to your city before you can move.
  • Have teleport items available – if you have none of these items you will need to buy one or wait until you have one. There are many options here that will be covered in more detail in the next sections.
  • A free spot – there will often be things blocking areas on the world map where you want to teleport. That could be resource spots such as Coal Mines and Farms, or it could be enemy cities or Beasts. This is really only relevant if you are using a teleport that allows you to pick your spot and there is generally plenty of room unless you are trying to land next to a specific player or perhaps get nearer to a crowded event objective. You will need four squares of free map to be allowed to teleport your city to that location.
  • Enemy Territory – you cannot use an Advanced Teleporter to move into enemy Alliance Territory.

Your Teleport Options

As already hinted at in this Whiteout Survival Guide on How to Teleport, there are numerous options at your disposal for teleporting. However, some cost more than others and you should be careful in selecting which teleport to use for each given scenario. In the next sections we cover all the different teleports you can use, how to get them, and when is best to use them.

Random Teleporter

Whiteout Survival Random Teleporter

The Random Teleporter is probably the poorest option for teleporting you have and, as the name suggests, when used, will simply teleport your city to a random place on the world map. However, it does have some uses, for example in specific events such where it may be useful to take your chances at random locations on the event map to engage in PvP or perhaps to go to random places in your state to find Polar Terrors or better Gathering locations. Unlike the Advanced Teleport, it can also land you inside the territory of other Alliances.

All players have a stock of rechargeable Random Teleporters up to a maximum of 10. When your stock falls below this level it will slowly recharge over time. These can be found by clicking on the small arrow below your profile picture and then selecting the Random Teleporter option. Alternatively, they can be bought for 1,000 Gems per use and found in the various in-game shops, however, you should really only use the rechargeable ones and save your currencies for the more premium options.

Alliance Teleporter

The Alliance Teleporter can be used to teleport your city to a random place near the R5 of your Alliance. When used, you are able to select an area around the location it initially selects for you. If you do not like the space, you can cancel the teleport and try again to see if it places you somewhere more preferable. This is particularly useful if trying to use it to teleport to a crowded location such as the Bear Hunt or Fortress Battle. The Alliance Teleporter can be bought in the Alliance Shop and costs about 80,000 Alliance Tokens when found with a discount.

Territory Teleporter

Somewhat similar to the Alliance Teleporter, the Territory Teleported transports your city to a location closest to your alliance’s highest-level HQ. This is very useful for when you have left your alliance territory, for example, to take part in an event or PvP, and need to get back again. This teleporter can be bought in the Alliance Shop for around 40,000 Alliance Tokens when found with a 40% discount.

Advanced Teleporter

Whiteout Survival Advanced Teleporter

Advanced Teleporters are the premium teleport option in Whiteout Survival. They allow you to teleport anywhere you want that is not inside enemy territory. However, this usefulness does come at a cost, with the Advanced Teleport costing 4,000 Gems. However, it can also be found in the Alliance Shop for 130,000 Tokens (however they can be found a lot cheaper when discounted) and the VIP Shop for 2,000 Gems. You should try to pick these up as often as you can as you will use them a lot during events.

Cross-State Teleporter

The final teleport item we need to look at in Whiteout Survival is the Cross-State Teleporter. This item is specifically for the State of Power event, also known as SvS (State vs. State), where two states are pitted against each other in a vicious battle. During this event, the Cross-State Teleporter can be used to transport your city into the enemy State. When the vent starts, players receive three of these for free.

Tips for Teleporting

By now you should have a pretty clear idea of how to teleport in Whiteout Survival and how to get all the different teleport items such as Advanced Teleporters and Territory Teleporters. However, there are some specific strategies and tips you can use to ensure you are using them most efficiently, check these out below:

  • Follow the Leader – This is the simple idea of saving your Advanced Teleporters and instead trying to use Alliance Teleporters where you can. Basically, it relies on the leader of your Alliance first teleporting to any specific event objectives and then the rest of the alliance following using their Alliance Teleporters. However, this does mean the leader needs to use Advanced Teleporters but if there is good trust in the alliance then the R5 position can be switched up to share this role amongst the members.
  • Daily Shopping – At their full price teleport items can be expensive to buy in Whiteout Survival. However, most shops will often have discounts, for example, it is not unusual to see items at a 60% discount in the VIP Shop. Make sure you check them all every day and pick up any Advanced Teleporters you see at a good price.
  • Have a Gamble – The Kill Event is typically the event you will use most of your Advanced Teleporters as you try to get close to your targets. However, why not make use of Random Teleports and see where you land? You probably won’t get the highest score doing this as it will mostly land you near dead accounts but it could help you in looting resources in a low-cost way.
