Behind the Groove: Meet Alison Ho

To create this audacious soundscape, Riot Games enlisted the expertise of Alison Ho, TFT Audio Lead, who shares, “It was a blast to try to re-imagine the real-world genres in ways that would fit into the TFT world that Choncc or Pengu would listen to. Like Emo leaning into literal Gothic styles and synthwave or Country with its spooky High Noon spaghetti western. Mixing any of the songs with Disco was particularly fun to test with how funky that track turned out to be. I’m excited to see what kinds of mixes our players come up with!” So, if you’ve ever dreamed of seeing Choncc rocking out to synthwave or Pengu strumming a spooky High Noon guitar, now’s your chance!

Soundtrack Showdown: Mixing and Matching Champions

In Remix Rumble, it’s not just about forming a band; it’s about creating a musical masterpiece. You can pull Champions with different Origins into your roster, and each one adds its unique musical layers to the mix.

Alternatively, you can stick to one genre and revel in the awesome synergy it brings. Imagine Jinx, Twitch, Pantheon, and Vi getting together to unleash a punk rock anthem that’ll shake the gaming world. You have the freedom to experiment, discover new trios, and take your musical creativity to the next level.

Rocking Buffs: Origins with a Twist

Not only are Champions and music genres getting a remix, but Origin buffs are also joining the party. These buffs are theme-specific, and they come with a touch of musical flair. Country comps have a deal-with-the-devil theme – summoning Hecarim as a powerful ally when your team’s health takes a nosedive, giving the rest of your crew a buff. If you prefer the funk of Disco, you can drop a disco ball on your battlefield, creating a dazzling light show that heals and buffs nearby allies. Each genre has its unique mechanic that adds a groovy twist to your strategy.
