Whiteout Survival Hero List: Generation & How to Get

When you first start on a new State in Whiteout Survival you will have a limited number of Heroes available for you to use. These are the Generation 1 Heroes, and while many of these make our list of the Best Heroes for F2P Players many others unlock as you progress through the Generations. In this Whiteout Survival Hero List, we outline all the different Heroes available, in which Generation they become unlocked, how to get them, and when you can expect each new Generation to start. In addition to this, you can follow the Hero links for a detailed guide on each individual Hero.

When a New Generation Starts

As mentioned in our Whiteout Survival Tips for Beginners and our List of the Best Heroes for Free Players, it is important to plan out which Heroes you most want to unlock and upgrade. A big part of this is understanding the Hero Generation mechanic and when each new Generation unlocks. Indeed, as a new Generation opens up, that generation’s Heroes will become available via Events, Hero Recruitment, and the Lucky Wheel. With that in mind, you can expect each new Generation to unlock as follows in terms of how old your State is in days:

• Generation 1 – 0 days
• Generation 2 – 40 days
• Generation 3 – 120 days
• Generation 4 – 200 days
• Generation 5 – 280 days
• Generation 6 – 360 days
• Generation 7 – 440 days
• Generation 8 – 520 days
• Generation 9 – 600 days
• Generation 10 – 680 days

Hero List

Now let’s get straight into the Whiteout Survival Hero List. They are separated by their rarity with details included on how to get each one and at which Generation each of them becomes available. Rare Heroes

These Blue Heroes, while typically the weakest in terms of overall stats, offer great buffs to your Gathering. Follow the links for each Hero to learn more about each one.

Epic Heroes

These are the Purple Heroes found in the game, and while not as strong as the Mythic / Gold Heroes, they do feature heavily in our list of the Best Heroes for F2P Players due to the ease with which their shards can be accumulated for upgrading.

Mythic Heroes

Now let’s get into the real MVPs in this Whiteout Survival Lists, the Mythic / Gold Heroes. However, unless you are a Whale, you will want to carefully select the ones you choose to work on. It should also be noted that these Heroes typically get better as the generations progress. For example, a Generation 9 Hero will have base stats that are far superior to a Generation 1 Hero.
