In this article, we will look at all the options you have to remove ads as well as the pros and cons of each option.

Closing the App
This is the method I used to skip ads before I became a Bitlife Bitizen. Although it doesn’t completely remove the ad, this method allows you to quickly get past it and keep playing. It involves closing Bitlife completely when an ad loads and then just reopening the app instantly. When it has reloaded, the ad will have disappeared and you can keep playing where you left off. Although a little annoying to do, this is a very quick method and only takes a few seconds each time, much better than watching a full 30-second ad!
Bitizenship
Becoming a Bitizen is one of the Best Bitlife Add-on Expansions for several reasons, but most importantly for this article because it removes ads! In our opinion, this alone makes it worth the small outlay even before considering the other benefits such as unlimited generations and dark mode. Of course, however, this does cost money and therefore this may not be the option you are looking for. Thankfully there are also a few completely free options to remove and skip ads in Bitlife as we will cover in the next sections. Nevertheless, we would recommend becoming a Bitizen to support the developers if you can do so.
Browser Version
Another option to remove ads from Bitlife is to play a browser version of the game. There are several options out there such as bitlifeonline.io and bitlife.online, however, it should be noted that these are typically not full versions of the game and may not function as well on your mobile as the official app.
Ad Blockers
Ad blockers are another great option but they will often require a paid plan to fully function which then means you may as well purchase Bitizenship which is a one-off payment. However, if this is still a route you want to go down then there are a few options available such as AdGuard DNS. This one sees you change your DNS settings to use those from AdGuard and can be used with both Android and iOS. Once implemented, you will no longer see any ads while playing Bitlife.
Mods
The final option you have to remove and skip ads in Bitlife is to install a modded version of the game. These are unofficial versions of the game that have essentially removed all ads and in some cases also come with all expansions and add-ons included. However, I do not personally recommend these as they are not licensed by the developer and it is hard to know if what you are downloading is safe. You are better off using the options above, and in particular, becoming a Bitizen to support the game.
