In King’s Choice, Gold is the premium currency that is mostly only available in exchange for real money. It can be used in Events to improve your performance, to go on dates with your Lovers, to increase your University capacity, and much more. Thankfully, with all these potential benefits, there are also several ways that you can accumulate Gold completely for free. Visit
Once you pass Outpost 12, each day that you log in, you can Visit another player who has earned a Title. To do this, simply navigate to the Visit building and select the Keep that you wish to visit. Doing this earns you a small amount of Gold which increases with your account level. For example, at Senior Lord Level 3 you will receive 100 Gold per visit.
Champagne Fair
In Champagne Fair, you develop your own Market by building new Stores and upgrading them as you progress through the Outpost chapters. You can manage each Store 3 times a day for certain rewards depending on the Store. However, most importantly, each time you manage one there is also a small chance to get some free Gold.
Social Shares (Lovers and Knights)
Each week you can share one of your Knights and one of your Lovers on Facebook, Twitter, or WhatsApp for 50 Gold each time. If you do both a Lover and a Knight each week then this will earn you 100 free King’s Choice Gold. Thankfully, if you don’t want to post this to social media you can cancel the share before you confirm and still earn the Gold.
Naval Expeditions
Once you have passed Outpost 100 you unlock Naval Expedition. In this feature, you spend Silver to send out ships to explore and bring back rewards. This includes things like Gifts for Lovers, Silver, and even small amounts of Gold! Early on this will be quite an expensive feature to use in terms of Silver, but as you progress and are earning more Gold it becomes well worth expenditure.
Daily Quests
All players should already be completing the Daily Quests every day for the Prestige and VIP rewards. However, it is also a great source of consistent Gold. Indeed, at 120 Daily Quest Points, you will receive 50 Gold.
Daily Lucky Pack
Each day you can claim a free Lucky Pack which is found in the Value Packs menu. Upon opening there is a small chance to get 100 Gold, however, normally you will receive a Rare Chest that contains Prestige, Attribute Books, Talents Points, or Skill Points.
Congratulate
As mentioned in our Beginner Tips, navigating to the Ranking building and then the Server Ranking option allows you to Congratulate other players once a day across 3 different categories: State Power Ranking, Stage Ranking, and Intimacy Ranking. Each time you Congratulate a player you will get 10 Gold, however, there is also a chance that you will get lucky and receive an additional 10x Gold each time. You can also Congratulate in the Cross-kingdom Ranking menu in return for Prestige.
Watching Ads
You can watch ads in King’s Choice up to 5 times a day in return for rewards including free Gold. Indeed, each time you watch one, you will gain 20 Gold for a combined total of 100 Gold if you watch all 5 every day. The ads last around 30 seconds so this can be a little annoying to do but this does add up to quite a lot of Gold over time.
Patrol
The Patrol function offers another route to gaining free Gold in King’s Choice. Simply hit Quick Patrol and you have a small chance of gaining some. Pirates
This method of free Gold is a little harder to achieve than the others on the list as it requires perfect timing. Each day, for 1 hour, the Pirate Invasion opens up with all players contributing to defeating it. Once it is defeated, the event ends with players who took part receiving Prestige. However, the player who lands the killing blow will also receive 100 Gold!
Quests & Achievements
Simply by playing the game, you will complete Main Quests and Achievements. The rewards from these are quite varied and can even include Knights! However, for the purposes of this guide, they are also a good source of Gold, especially achievements where you will consistently be unlocking new ones long into the game.
Exchange Codes
If you navigate to the game settings you will find a menu called Exchange Code. Here, you can input limited-time codes in exchange for rewards which often include Gold. However, do note that they don’t last long so it is worth keeping an eye out for new ones posted in game chat by other players.
