Originating from Shamash, the ancient Mesopotamian sun god, Javid is a Legendary Inferno Fighter Esper. He is known for his AoE attacks which can also cause additional True Damage and Splash Damage when his unique debuff, Judgment Seal, is activated.

Is Javid a Good Esper in Dislyte?
Although greatly anticipated by the Dislyte community upon his release, Javid is generally considered quite a mid Esper. Despite this, he has some great uses in particular PvE content due to his AoE damage capabilities as well as his high debuff rate which can cause havoc in the enemy team.
Overall he stands out as a Fighter Esper who has a high amount of debuff capacity through each of his abilities. He can inflict DEF Down, Sear, Diseased, and, most importantly, Judgment Seal. Whenever an Esper afflicted with Judgment Seal takes a hit, they also deal Splash Damage, in the form of True Damage, to 2 random teammates. This can work very well with allied Bomb Espers such as Embla and Jiang Man.
It is also important to highlight his unique buff, Sacred Flame, which he gains when using his third ability, Eternal Light. This lasts for 2 turns and dispels all DoT effects from Javid and allows him to deal extra True Damage depending on the number of DoT effects dispelled. This can scale his damage significantly whilst at the same time improving his survivability.
Javid Abilities
In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. Divine Wrath
- Level 1: Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 100% ATK. Inflicts Def Down for 2 turns if the target is afflicted with Judgment Seal. Deals Splash Damage to 1 random enemy unit if the target has a debuff.
- Level 2: Damage increased to 105%.
- Level 3: Damage increased to 110%.
- Level 4: Damage increased to 115%
- Level 5: Damage increased to 120%.
Divine Might
- Level 1: Attacks all enemies. Damage: 70% ATK. Inflicts Sear for 2 turns. Deals extra True Damage to targets afflicted with Judgment Seal. True Damage: 10% of their Max HP, up to 100% of Javid’s ATK. 50% chance of inflicting Judgment Seal on targets currently not afflicted with Judgment Seal for 2 turns upon landing a Crit.
- Level 2: Damage increased to 80%.
- Level 3: Damage increased to 90%.
- Level 4: Damage increased to 100%.
- Level 5: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn.
Eternal Light
- Level 1: Gains Sacred Flame for 2 turns. Inflicts Judgment Seal on all enemies for 2 turns. Attacks 1 enemy first. Damage: 140% ATK. Inflicts Diseased for 3 turns. Then, attacks all enemies. Damage: 70% ATK.
- Level 2: Damage of the second strike increased to 80%.
- Level 3: Damage of the second strike increased to 90%.
- Level 4: Damage of the second strike increased to 100%.
- Level 5: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn.
Javid Captain Ability
Increases ally ATK by 30%.
Javid Ascension
All Espers in Dislyte can be further ascended to improve their stats starting from level 1. They can then be ascended again at levels 10/20/30/40/50 up to a total of 6 Ascensions. For more details on Ascending your Espers, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

Javid Resonance

Javid Divinate
You can collect Divinates for an Esper to increase their Divinate tier up to a maximum tier of 6. You can learn more about this feature in our Dislyte Esper Guide. The below shows the buffs Javid receives at her maximum Divinate tier and maximum Divinate level:
- ATK +900
- HP +3,815
- Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +30%
- When the bearer’s HP is above 70%, Eternal Light’s Final Damage +30%
Javid Equipment
As a Fighter Esper who relies somewhat on his Crit chance, you’ll likely want to increase this with your Equipment. In addition, it then also makes sense to increase his C. DMG to maximize his damage. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:
- Thunder: C. DMG +50% and an extra +30% when attacking Bosses
- Fiery: C. RATE +20%
- Fiery: C.RATE +20%
Lastly, Javid’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize C. RATE, ATK BONUS, ACC, C. DMG, and SPD.
