In Dislyte, you can face several different bosses in the Ritual Miracle, such as Kronos, Apep, Andras, and Fafnir. Best Espers for Farnir
The Ritual Miracle’s Fafnir is of the Flow Element, and therefore the best Dislyte Espers to fight it will typically be from the Wind Element which has an advantage. Fafnir is immune to AP reduction, has multiple levels of HP, and gains stacks of Andvari’s Treasure which reduce damage taken, can freeze the last attacker, and detonate for huge damage to frozen targets on his turn.
To counter this, you’ll need to need clear Fafnir’s Andvari Treasure stacks which can only be done by attacking him. The best way to do this is by using Espers that attack multiple times in a turn. One of the Best Healers, a debuffing Support, and a Dispel Esper can also be useful in countering Fafnir’s kit. For more detailed information on Fafnir, check out our Ritual Miracle Guide.
Berenice (Bastet)
Berenice is the only Rare Esper in this list of the Best Espers for the Fafnir Ritual Miracle. Although not as powerful as others in this list, she is a good F2P Dislyte option that can do a decent job against Fafnir, especially in the early to mid stages. However, you will probably want to replace her with another option on this list once you get to stage 14+.
Berenice is useful against Fafnir due to the multi-hit attacks she can use to clear its Andvari Treasure stacks. In addition, her first ability, Feline Grace, can inflict DEF Down to increase damage done by allies, and her third ability, Moon Dance, will Shield all allies thereby increasing their survivability against Fafnir’s powerful attacks.

Lynn (Hathor)
Lynn is another Fighter on this list who use her multi-hit attacks to bring down Fafnir’s Andvari Treasure stacks. Her second ability, Eye of the Goddess, is particularly useful as it hits 3 times with each hit having a chance to also dispel a buff from her target. In addition, it can inflict ATK Down to reduce the damage done by Fafnir.
Her other 2 abilities are also useful with each hitting their target twice. Her third ability, Ruler of Dendera, can also protect her by granting herself a Shield whilst also inflicting the enemy with Sear to increase the damage they take by 25%.

Lu Yi (Dayi)
In our opinion Lu Yi is a somewhat overlooked Fighter Esper in Dislyte, however, he can do a great job against Fafnir both in terms of clearing Andvari Treasure stacks and dealing huge damage. His third ability, Skyshot, is the highlight here which will hit Fafnir 9 times! It also has a chance to inflict Bleed with each hit and increase its damage for every debuff the target has.
His damage potential is supported even further by his passive, Unshackling, which causes each attack to have a chance of True Damage, with this chance increased if the hit is a Crit. As such, a Crit build on Lu Yi can do wonders against Fafnir and you won’t regret building him for this Ritual Miracle.

Asenath (Nefertem)
Asenath is the only non-Wind Esper on this list, however, as a Shimmer, she has no weakness against Fafnir which means she can still be effective. Her use against Fafnir is as one of the Best Healers in the game who will keep your team alive against its huge damage and her AP buffs to allies that will push them forward in the turn order.
In terms of Healing, Asenath’s second ability, Dancing Buds, will be your focus. It heals the entire team as well granting them the Recovery buff for further healing. Her third ability, Lotus Steps, is used to increase the AP of all allies. It also grants them Lotus Mark which reduces all damage they take to improve their survivability.

Meredith (Scylla)
Meredith is another of Dislyt’s Best Healers to make it into our list of the Best Espers for the Fafnir Ritual Miracle. However, it is not just her healing that is helpful. Indeed, she can distribute a serious amount of buffs to her allies as well as having the potential to do some massive damage with the right build.
Her third ability, Hand of Scylla, is the showstopper. It attacks the enemy and deals damage based on their max HP which can cause a serious reduction. It also heals all allies based on damage done, grants a Shield if healing overflows, and buffs all allies with SPD Up and Recovery. This can really turn around a team that looks like it is on its last legs.

Hyde (Hades)
Hyde is another Fighter Esper who can serve you well as one of the Best Dislyte Espers for the Fafnir Ritual Miracle. He makes use of multi-hit attacks and buff dispels to reduce its Andvari Treasure stacks and can also heal and revive himself to stay in the battle longer.
His first ability, Underworld Curse, will be your go-to attack with Hyde for reducing Fafnir’s Andvari Treasure stacks. It attacks its target twice with each hit also stealing 1 buff from the target. Each stolen buff grants Hyde one Breath of the Deep stack. Each stack of Breath of the Deep that Hyde has will increase his attack and reduce the damage taken.

Gabrielle (Njord)
Gabrielle is a Support Esper who, although not doing a huge amount of damage, sees all her abilities hit their target multiple times. This will be helpful in clearing more of Fafnir’s Andvari Treasure stacks. On top of this, she can distribute a large number of protection buffs to her allies and also some debuffs to the enemy that will increase the damage they take.
Her third ability, Rush, hits the enemy 3 times with each hit inflicting ATK Down for 2 turns. It also grants DEF Up and Immunity to all allies. This will benefit the team hugely in their battle against Fafnir with much-reduced damage taken. Gabrielle’s second ability, Broadside, again attacks multiple times with each hit having a chance to inflict DEF Down to increase the damage taken by Fafnir.

Ahmed (Geb)
Ahmed is one of the Best Healers in Dislyte who as you’d expect does a huge amount of healing but can also reduce ally ability cooldowns and increase their attack. This easily makes him one of the Best Espers for the Dislyte Fafnir Ritual Miracle.
Most of Ahmed’s utility comes from his third ability, World Stage, which heals 10 times and reduces team cooldowns by 1 turn. This is supported by his passive ability, Warm Harmonics, grants allies a Supporting Song stack each time they are healed. For each stack of Supporting Song that an Esper has, their attack is increased. This will be vital for helping your Fighter Espers to bring down Fafnir’s mamoth HP.

Li Guang (Vermilion Bird)
Li Guang is highly effective against Fafnir and like the other Fighter Espers on this list, she uses her multi-hit attacks to shed Andvari Treasure stacks from it. Her damage scales off of her SPD and this therefore should be the focus of your build to maximize damage. In addition, she is able to buff the AP of allies and herself, reduce ally cooldowns, and steal enemy buffs.
Indeed, her third ability, Dazzling Sunfire, hits the enemy 3 times, for damage that scales off of her SPD, and gives an AP buff to all allies. However, her second ability, Fetchihng Fire, is the highlight. It hits the target twice for SPD-based damage, steals a buff for each hit, AND, upon successfully stealing a buff, increases all buffs and reduces all ability cooldowns by 1 turn.

Yun Chuan (Yang Jian)
Yun Chuan is easily one of the Best Dislyte Fighter Espers for the Fafnir Ritual Miracle due to being able to attack his target a large number of times with each ability used. He can also buff his entire team with SPD Up when using his third ability, Guardian Lord, and debuff Fafnir with every ability he uses.
However, it is Yun Chuan’s passive ability, Whistling Stance, which really makes him stand out. With this, every critical hit he makes inflicts the target with Third-Eye Seal, and, when attacking targets with Third-Eye Seal, he summons Screamer to launch an assist attack that ignores DEF, inflicts Sear on the target for increased damage, and steals a buff from the target. This is a perfect counter for Fafnir.
