In Dislyte there are different rarities of Espers: Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Of these, Rare Espers are those you are most likely to get hold of when spinning at the Echo, with Epics being less common and Legendarys being much less common. Best Rare Espers in Dislyte
As mentioned above, you will likely make a lot of use of Rare Espers during your time in Dislyte. However, although these Espers can be relatively easy to get hold of, this doesn’t mean that they are no good. Indeed, you will likely still use them deep into the game and even into some of the high-level PvE content such as the Ritual Miracle. Drew (Anubis)
Drew, also known as Anubis, is a Rare 3-star Inferno Fighter Esper in Dislyte, focusing on DPS. Although there are more powerful Espers, Drew’s 3-star rarity makes him easier to upgrade, making him a practical choice for F2P players. Simply by spinning Echo’s, you’ll quickly have him up to max Resonance for maximum buffs.
In particular, he is highly regarded for battling Apep due to his Inferno Element and abilities that can deal huge damage. Outside of Apep, his ability to attack another Esper after eliminating the first target is underrated and allows him to put together chain kills. This is a skill that is invaluable across most of Dislyte’s content.

Unky Chai (Yue Lao)
One of Unky Chai’s advantages is his simplicity which focuses on purely increasing the damage done by his allies through buffs and cooldown reductions. His third ability, Ropes of Destiny grants all allies ATK Up, and if an ally already has ATK Up then their ability cooldowns all reduce by 1 turn. This ability also has an insanely low cooldown itself allowing Unky Chai to get it out A LOT!
This then chimes excellently with his passive ability, Ties That Bind. With this, at the start of each of his turns, he grants C. Rate Up and ATK Up to 2 random allies. If a target already has ATK Up then their ability cooldowns reduce by 1 turn. Putting Unky Chai in a team with Healer will keep him alive to keep these buffs coming and adding an Esper who can extend buff duration will help his cooldown reductions keep procing.

Melanie (Medusa)
Melanie is highly effective at disrupting the turn order of enemies by reducing their AP. She is easily one of the Best Dislyte Rare Espers in this role, however, as you unlock Epic and Legendary Controllers, you’ll likely want to rotate more into them. Despite this, she is highly effective at what she does and will help you out a lot in the early-game content.
The highlight of her kit is her passive, Covenant of Punishment. With this, every time Melanie attacks an enemy, she will reduce their AP by 15%. Additionally, if the target’s AP is below 30% then it will inflict them with Petrification. Her third ability also reduces the AP of ALL enemies. This makes her great for focusing down specific enemies you don’t want to attack both in PvP, such as Point War, and PvE, such as Cube Miracle, content.

Ye Suhua (Shao Siming)
Ye Suhua is an excellent Support Esper who possesses both powerful buffs and debuffs as well as the ability to Heal her allies. In addition, she is a Rare Shimmer meaning she has no inherent elemental weakness, and as a Rare Esper is relatively easy to Resonate versus Shimmer Epics and Legendaries.
In terms of buffs and debuffs, her third ability, Star Dancer, grants ATK Up and DEF Up to all allies. Her second ability, Astral Guardian, Heals one ally and grants them Invincibility. And, her first ability, Stardust, has a chance to inflict ATK Down on its target. This kit will serve you very well in the early game as a basis for maximizing the potential of the other Espers in the team as well as adding some survivability.

Chang Pu (Yao Ji)
Chang Pu will serve as your main source of healing in the early game and can also do a decent job on some of the harder content. Indeed, she even makes our list of the Best Healers in Dislyte due to the huge healing that the third ability, Prayer of Renewal, can do. In particular, it heals all allies for an amount that scales off of Chang Pu’s ATK and the target’s Max HP. This can easily rise to a huge amount with the right build!
In addition to this, her second ability, Restoration, can heal 1 ally for a good amount, and her basic ability, Orb of Vaxar, can add some enemy AP reduction into the mix. You won’t regret building her in the early days of your account though as you progress you’ll likely want to replace her with better Healers such as Clara and Ahmed.

Tang Yun (Six-Eared Macaque)
Although Drew (Anubis) is who we consider the Best Rare Fighter Esper, Tang Yun is not too far off. While his base damage may not appear impressive, Tang Yun’s advantage lies in his ability to execute multiple attacks per turn and Stun opponents, resulting in unexpectedly high overall damage output and enemy turn disruption.
Indeed, each time Tang Yun uses any of his abilities, he has a chance to launch an additional pursuit attack with his basic ability, Iron Polearm. This, in addition, has a chance to Stun the enemy which can lead to some very beneficial combos.
