What is a Defender Esper in Dislyte
In Dislyte, there are 4 different roles that an Esper can be tagged with: Fighter, Defender, Controller, or Support. Each of these roles plays a different part in your team. The Defender is the Tank of your team and will be relied upon to take damage for your other Espers and survive in order to deal out their own damage.
What Makes a Good Defender Esper in Dislyte
In Dislyte, a strong Defender will have a high DEF stat, good HP, and a respectable SPD value. This all sees the Defender able to soak up as much damage as possible and keeps them in the game to return fire with their own abilities. For most Defenders, you will typically also want to see them with debuffs that can reduce the damage capacity of the enemy or buff the durability of allies.
Players will note that there aren’t currently that many Defender Espers in the game. Due to this limited choice, it can make the decision easy for who to use. Simply the one you actually have! How to Build a Defender Esper in Dislyte
As mentioned above, the Best Defender Espers will have high DEF and HP. Often, you will see the damage they deal scaling off of these 2 stats. Depending on the Defender Esper, it can also be useful to increase SPD to help them get their protection abilities out early in the match. Therefore, builds that maximize these stats should be focused on when building a Defender Esper.
As such, a good place to start is focusing on Equipment that increases DEF, and HP and provides Lifesteal. Of course, this can vary from Esper to Esper depending on their specific stats and abilities. Indeed, this list is based on performance across all game modes and there are certain Espers who are specialists in a specific game mode and therefore may still rank quite low here.
