Dislyte Esper Guides: Ollie (Osiris)

Dislyte Esper Ollie

Originating from Osiris, Egyptian god of the afterlife and resurrection, Ollie is a Fighter Esper with a particular focus on soaking up hits from his allies, both by taunting opponents and protecting himself from the damage and by protecting them from killing blows. This makes him very supportive in nature, but he’s still able to deal great damage!

Is Ollie a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Ollie is one of my favorite Espers, particularly when it comes to Point War. Though he isn’t one of the Espers with resurrection capabilities, his ability to allow Espers to survive otherwise fatal attacks combined with good healing can result in match-deciding recoveries.

Though he’s not the best Esper at damage dealing despite his role as a Fighter, he’s still able to deal some good damage and, tactically used, his most damaging attack can also make him invulnerable to powerful attacks as long as you know they’re coming. As such, Ollie can be a little harder to use, but very rewarding.

Ollie Abilities

In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. For more details on improving an Esper’s abilities, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

Full details on all of Ollie’s abilities can be seen below.

  • Level 1: Attacks 1 enemy. Deals 100% ATK damage. 80% chance of Silencing them for 1 turn.
  • Level 2: Damage increased to 105%
  • Level 3: Damage increased to 110%
  • Level 4: Damage increased to 115%
  • Level 5: Damage increased to 120%

Salvific Judgements (PASSIVE)

  • Level 1: When allies take fatal damage, they survive, grants Invincibility and Recovery for 1 turn, and casts Law of Duat to counterattack. Cooldown: 9 turns

Ollie Ascension

All Espers in Dislyte can be further ascended to improve their stats starting from level 1. They can then be ascended again at levels 10/20/30/40/50 up to a total of 6 Ascensions. For more details on Ascending your Espers, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

Full details on the boost gained by Ollie at each level of Esper Ascension can be seen below.

  • Phase 1: ATK +70
  • Phase 2: HP +950
  • Phase 3: Upgraded Law of Duat
  • Phase 4: ATK +10%
  • Phase 5: HP +15%
  • Phase 6: C. RATE +15%

Ollie Divine Resonance

Ollie’s Divine Resonance should allocate 18 energy to ATK, and 18 energy to DEF. Using this, you should activate these Talents for this Esper:

  • [ATK] Power Suppression: When attacking a disadvantaged enemy, damage +3%
  • [ATK] Life Snatcher: When an enemy dies, basic ATK +5%
  • [ATK] Divine Strike: After casting a non-basic ability, the next 1 basic abilities’ damage +6%
  • [DEF] Divine Resilience: When attacked by a critical hit, damage taken -2%
  • [DEF] Force Field: Debuffed allies’ RESIST +5%, up to 15%
  • [DEF] Wind Guardian: Immobilised allies’ SPD +5, up to +15

Ollie Relics

Ollie’s main issue is that his ability cooldowns are incredibly long, and usually you’ll only be able to use his passive once. Although this can be moved past by upgrading his abilities, Legendary Abilimon are incredibly difficult to come by and target a random ability each time.

Along with remedying this, it’s also important to focus on Ollie’s health and defense, as one of his attacks does cause him to be the target of enemy attacks. While he is able to grant himself Invincibility in more than one way, this won’t always last. On top of this, other players will likely target him first so that their effort in taking down another one of your Espers isn’t ruined by Ollie’s passive. As such, he needs to be able to withstand such attacks.

Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

  • Ocean Waves: Grants a 30% chance of reducing all ability cooldowns by 1 turn after an ability is used
  • Apollo’s Bow: +25% ACC
  • Master Grove: +25% HP

Lastly, Ollie’s Relics’ characteristics should prioritize HP, DEF, and SPD.
