Dislyte Esper Guides: Lucas (Apollo)

Dislyte Esper Lucas

Originating from Apollo, Greek god of the sun, Lucas is a Legendary Controller Esper often used by more advanced F2P Dislyte fans on account of the fact that he can be acquired through the completion of the Spatial Tower. He’s pretty useful, able to stop opponents in their tracks by stunning them and taking their AP. He’s not the most disabling of the Controllers available, however.

Is Lucas a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Lucas is often looked down upon as a Controller, on account of being worse than many lower rarity Espers of this kind. Despite this, he is still a useful Esper and one I’d recommend giving your time if you don’t have any that would be considered better – he’s not a waste to build, people simply think you can do better.

He’s able to take buffs and AP and Stun his opponents, but that’s about it. He only has one skill for each feature, as opposed to Disablers who can stop their opponents with every attack, but the use of Relics can have this effect. His damage isn’t great, but this is still useful and his chances of success aren’t too low. Being a 5* Esper, he’s difficult to upgrade and this can impact his usefulness, but I wouldn’t discard him.

Lucas Abilities

In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. Lucas Ascension

Full details on the boost gained by Lucas at each level of Esper Ascension can be seen below.

Lucas Divine Resonance

Lucas’s Divine Resonance should allocate 18 energy to HP, and 18 energy to ATK. Using this, you should activate these Talents for this Esper:

  • [HP] Targeted Constraints: Each surviving enemy grants ACC +2%
  • [HP] Crisis Response: If HP is below 50%, all allies’ damage +2% up to +6%
  • [HP] Hasty Action: If there is an ability on cooldown, SPD +10
  • [ATK] Power Suppression: When attacking a disadvantaged enemy, damage +3%
  • [ATK] Life Snatcher: When an enemy dies, basic ATK +5%
  • [ATK] Divine Strike: After casting a non-basic ability, the next 1 basic abilities’ damage +6%

Lucas Relics

Lucas’ main focus is disabling opponents, stopping them from attacking, and promoting the speed of his team’s attacks. As such, it’s important to make him quick to get in there first, increase his accuracy so that his stunning/AP stealing attacks can hit, and generally just speed him up.

Due to his abilities being tied to AP, increasing his speed also makes him more useful for Point War, and this utility is important to consider. While it’s good to build Espers in a recommended way, the way you choose should be influenced by what they’ll be doing.

Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

  • Wind Walker: SPD +25%
  • Apollo’s Bow: ACC +25%
  • Fiery Incandescence: C.RATE +20%

Lastly, Lucas’s Relics’ characteristics should prioritize C. RATE, ATK BONUS, ACC, and SPD.
