Dislyte Esper Guides: Lucas (Apollo)

Dislyte Esper Lucas

Originating from Apollo, Greek god of the sun, Lucas is a Legendary Controller Esper often used by more advanced F2P Dislyte fans on account of the fact that he can be acquired through the completion of the Spatial Tower. He’s pretty useful, able to stop opponents in their tracks by stunning them and taking their AP. He’s not the most disabling of the Controllers available, however.

Is Lucas a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Lucas is often looked down upon as a Controller, on account of being quite niche in his uses. Despite this, he is still a useful Esper and one I’d recommend giving your time to if you don’t have any that would be considered better – he’s not a waste to build, people simply think you can do better.

He’s able to take buffs and AP and Stun his opponents, but that’s about it. He only has one skill for each feature, as opposed to Disablers who can stop their opponents with every attack, but the use of Equipment can have this effect. His damage isn’t great, but this is still useful and his chances of success aren’t too low. Being a 5* Esper, he’s difficult to upgrade and this can impact his usefulness, but I wouldn’t discard him.

Lucas Divinate

You can collect Divinates for an Esper to increase their Divinate tier up to a maximum tier of 6. You can learn more about this feature in our Dislyte Esper Guide. The below shows the buffs Lucas receives at her maximum Divinate tier and maximum Divinate level:

  • ATK +255
  • HP +9,876
  • Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +30%
  • After casting Pillar of Light, the bearer has a 100% chance of gaining SPD Up for 2 turns

Lucas Equipment

Lucas’ main focus is disabling opponents, stopping them from attacking, and promoting the speed of his team’s attacks. As such, it’s important to make him quick to get in there first, increase his accuracy so that his stunning/AP stealing attacks can hit, and generally just speed him up.

Due to his abilities being tied to AP, increasing his speed also makes him more useful for Point War, and this utility is important to consider. While it’s good to build Espers in a recommended way, the way you choose should be influenced by what they’ll be doing. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

  • Wind: SPD +25%
  • Recurve: ACC +25%
  • Fiery: C.RATE +20%

Lastly, Lucas’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize C. RATE, ATK BONUS, ACC, and SPD.
