Dislyte Esper Guides: Xuan Pin (Jiutian Xuannu)

Originating from Jiutian Xuannu, the goddess of war, longevity, and sex in Chinese mythology, Xuan Pin is a Legendary Shimmer Support Esper.

Xuan Pin Details

Is Xuan Pin a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Xuan Pin sees her role as an AP pusher with abilities that see her easily rival some of the other best AP pushers in Dislyte. In addition, she has some stacked unique buffs that can really elevate the damage potential of her teammates. These unique buffs include all of the following:

• Cannon: Dealing damage ignores 25% DEF. Gains Stun when this effect expires.
• Chariot: +10% ATK. +150% SPD. Gains 1 stack of Soldier when this effect expires.
• General: When Xuan Pin attacks, calls in 1 random teammate with Soldier (excluding herself) to Assist, and grants them 1 stack of Soldier. Clears Horse, Cannon, Chariot, and Soldier from the ally upon death.
• Horse: Amplifies damage dealt. The higher the target’s Max HP, the more the damage is amplified, up to 100% (up to 25% against non-player units). This effect does not work when the target is at an elemental advantage.
• Soldier: +1% ATK per stack. When this effect is at full stacks, converts it into Chariot for 2 turns. Cannot gain Soldier while having General or Chariot. Max 5 stacks.

In terms of AP, her two first abilities can boost that of her allies. Her basic ability, Strategic Pieces, grants 15% AP to allies with Horse and Chariot, and her second ability, Heavy Cannonade, grants a selected ally 50% AP. Lastly, her third ability, Checkmate, grants allies Soldier and Horse, both of which boost damage.

Xuan Pin is clearly pretty stacked and we haven’t even mentioned her ability to dispel Shields and distribute DEF Down and Miss Rate Up debuffs. This kit sees her excel in PvP content such as Knockout and Point War.

Xuan Pin Abilities

In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. Strategic Pieces

• Level 1: Attacks 1 enemy. Damage: 100% ATK. Grants 15% AP to all allies with Horse and Chariot.
• Level 2: Damage increased to 105%.
• Level 3: Damage increased to 110%.
• Level 4: Damage increased to 115%
• Level 5: Damage increased to 120%.

Heavy Cannonade

• Level 1: Selects 1 ally. Grants them Cannon for 1 turn and 50% AP. Attacks all enemies. Damage 50% ATK. Inflicts DEF Down for 2 turns. Dispels their Shield.
• Level 2: Grants allies 75% AP.
• Level 3: Damage increased to 60%.
• Level 4: Grants allies 100% AP.
• Level 5: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn.

Checkmate

• Level 1: Grants 1 stack of Soldier to all allies. Grants Horse to 2 allies with the highest ATK for 2 turns. Attacks all enemies. Damage: 70% ATK. Deals extra True Damage. True Damage: 10% of the enemy’s Max HP, up to 100% of Xuan Pin’s ATK. Inflicts Miss Rate Up for 2 turns. At the start of combat, gains General, and grants 1 stack of Soldier to all teammates (excluding Xuan Pin).
• Level 2: Damage increased to 80%.
• Level 3: Damage increased to 90%.
• Level 4: Damage increased to 100%.
• Level 5: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn.

Xuan Pin Captain Ability

Increases ally C. RATE in Point War and Knockout by 30%.

Xuan Pin Ascension

All Espers in Dislyte can be further ascended to improve their stats starting from level 1. They can then be ascended again at levels 10/20/30/40/50 up to a total of 6 Ascensions. For more details on Ascending your Espers, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

• Phase 1: ATK +70, HP +340, DEF +25
• Phase 2: HP +950, ATK +25, DEF +25
• Phase 3: Upgraded Checkmate
• Phase 4: ATK +10%
• Phase 5: HP +15%
• Phase 6: SPD +10

Xuan Pin Resonance

Each Esper can conduct up to 6 Resonances. Each Resonance unlocks Divine Gates that boost an Esper’s powers through higher stats or stronger abilities. You can learn more about this feature in our Dislyte Esper Guide. See below for this Esper’s Resonance buffs.

Divine Gate	Description
Overload	Checkmate: Final Damage +10%.
Morph	Heavy Cannonade: The carrier of Cannon no longer gains Stun when Cannon expires.
Blessing	Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +15%.
Hasty Action	If there is an ability on cooldown, SPD +20.
Aura	Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +20%.
Morph	Checkmate: When Xuan Pin has General, grants 1 stack of Soldier to all teammates (excluding Xuan Pin) at the end of her turn.

Xuan Pin Divinate

You can collect Divinates for an Esper to increase their Divinate tier up to a maximum tier of 6. You can learn more about this feature in our Dislyte Esper Guide. The below shows the buffs Xuan Pin receives at her maximum Divinate tier and maximum Divinate level:

• ATK +255
• HP +9,876
• Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +30%
• At the start of the bearer’s turn, 100% chance of granting 1 ally Soldier

Xuan Pin Equipment

As an AP pusher, you’ll want to ensure Xuan Pin is rotating her abilities as much as possible so as to get her AP buffs out on a regular basis. This will allow her damage-dealing allies to get their attacks out at a quicker pace to overwhelm the enemy. In addition, giving her a counter chance will see her use her basic ability which can boost the AP of one ally. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

• Wind: SPD +25%
• Avatara: Grants a 25% chance of using Counterattack upon taking damage.

Lastly, Xuan Pin’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize HP BONUS, DEF BONUS, and SPD.
