Is Triki a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Triki is one of my favorite Controller Espers, focused on undermining his opponents so that his allies can take them down. While he is focused on stopping his enemies in their tracks and shares the infliction of Petrification with some other Espers, his primary focus is great debuffing.

Triki is a very unique and special Esper in that he has the ability to never miss, a skill that is vital when your purpose is to stop enemies with each hit. Because of this, he’s a very safe and certain bet, unlikely to fail you because of poor luck and low accuracy. This also makes him a great pick for Point War.

Triki Abilities

In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. For more details on improving an Esper’s abilities, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

Full details on all of Triki’s abilities can be seen below.

Greenflames

  • Level 1: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. The 1st hit deals 30% ATK damage. The 2nd hit deals 80% damage. Each hit transfers 1 debuff to the enemy. Successful transfer has a 50% chance of Stunning them for 1 turn.
  • Level 2: Damage of the second strike increased to 90%
  • Level 3: Trigger Chance increased to 60%
  • Level 4: Damage of the second strike increased to 100%
  • Level 5: Trigger Chance increased to 70%
  • Level 6: Damage of the second strike increased to 110%

Gambit (PASSIVE)

  • Level 1: Loki won’t miss. If an enemy causes their allies’ debuffs to end early, reduces the enemy’s HP by 30%, dispels all buffs from the enemy, and inflicts Petrification for 1 turn

Revolver

  • Level 1: Attacks all enemies 3 times. Each hit deals 35% ATK damage. Each hit has a 80% chance of dispelling 1 buff from each enemy. Each hit inflicts Miss Rate Up for 2 turns. Cooldown: 5 turns. Following Ascension 3, the 1st hit increases their debuff durations by 1 turn
  • Level 2: Damage increased to 37%
  • Level 3: Trigger Chance increased to 90%
  • Level 4: Damage increased to 40%
  • Level 3: Trigger Chance increased to 100%
  • Level 3: Cooldown reduced by 1 turn

Triki Captain Ability

Increases ally ACC by 40%

Triki Ascension

All Espers in Dislyte can be further ascended to improve their stats starting from level 1. They can then be ascended again at levels 10/20/30/40/50 up to a total of 6 Ascensions. For more details on Ascending your Espers, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

Full details on the boost gained by Triki at each level of Esper Ascension can be seen below.

  • Phase 1: HP +950
  • Phase 2: DEF +70
  • Phase 3: Upgraded Revolver
  • Phase 4: ATK +10%
  • Phase 5: DEF +15%

Triki Resonance

Each Esper can conduct up to 6 Resonances. Each Resonance unlocks Divine Gates that boost an Esper’s powers through higher stats or stronger abilities. You can learn more about this feature in our Dislyte Esper Guide. See below for this Esper’s Resonance buffs.

Divine GateDescription
OverloadGreenflames: Final Damage +10%.
MorphRevolver: Inflicts SPD Down on the target for 2 turns.
BlessingBase ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +15%.
Pressure VitalsUpon successfully dispelling or stealing buffs, each buff inflicts Max HP Capacity –4% on the target.
AuraBase ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +20%.
MorphGambit (Passive): HP reduction will not be lower than 15% of target’s Max HP (will not kill the target).

Triki Equipment

Triki’s ability to apply debuffs is vital not only because these weaken opponents but also because he gains benefits from opposing enemies who are debuffed. As such, the more that are debuffed, the better things are. Because of this, he needs to get in there quickly to debuff them and make sure that everyone is suffering at once.

On top of this, he struggles with low HP and DEF as many Controllers and Support Espers do. Due to this, you should definitely put some focus into improving these so that he doesn’t fall and lose his incredibly beneficial passive. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

  • Wind: SPD +25%
  • Grove: HP +25%

Lastly, Triki’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize HP, DEF, and SPD.
