Is Adrina a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Adrina possesses a very unique and interesting kit for a Fighter Esper. Indeed, she actually relies on assist attacks and pursuit attacks for her damage and can also be used as a hybrid Controller Esper with abilities that can get out a consistent amount of Stuns to the enemy.

Her passive ability, Covering Fire, reduces her AP by 99% when allies take a turn. This means that you rarely actually select an ability for her to use. Instead, with her passive, she performs an Assist Attack with her basic ability whenever a teammate casts a basic ability. Her basic ability, Flamespitter, attacks 1 enemy 2 times with damage that scales with HP and also grants her one Red Chili stack.

Red Chili is a unique buff to Adrina that increases her ATK and C. DMG by 10% for each stack, up to a maximum of 3 stacks. In addition, these stacks cause extra effects from her passive. When she reaches 2 stacks, she performs a pursuit attack on all enemies with a chance to Stun them. When she reaches 3 stacks, Red Chili is removed and she gains an extra turn, allowing you to use her third ability.

This third ability is called Warmest Welcome and attacks all enemies 1 time with damage that also scales off of her HP. In addition, it inflicts DEF Down and grants all allies, except for Adrina, an extra 10% AP. Overall, Adrina’s ability to get out good damage and Stun effects makes her pretty useful for PvP content such as Point War.

Adrina Equipment

Adrina’s unique kit leaves a few interesting options for her Equipment. Adding additional chances to Stun from her Assist and Pursuit attacks will highlight her crowd control attributes. Whereas, adding extra damage will highlight her Fighter aspects. It is also important to improve her HP through secondary attributes whilst SPD can be completely ignored. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

  • War: ATK +30%
  • Tyranny: 20% chance of inflicting Stun for 1 turn when dealing damage.
  • Thunder: C. DMG +50% and an extra 30% C. DMG when attacking bosses.
  • Avatara: 25% chance of counterattacking with basic Ability when taking damage.
  • Fiery: C.RATE +20%

Lastly, Adrina’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize C. RATE, ATK BONUS, ACC, C. DMG, and HP BONUS.
