Is Cecilia a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Cecilia is one of the Best Healers in Dislyte who is somewhat unique versus other options in this field. Indeed, relative healing is actually quite poor and she also has almost non-existent damage output. However, she does make up for this with abilities that can revive all fallen allies, dispel all debuffs, grant Immunity to the entire team, and distribute Shields.

However, her third ability, Ruby Coronet, which dispels all debuffs and grants immunity to all allies, and her second ability, Crimson Protection, which revives and heals all allies, have huge cooldowns. Indeed, after using each of them you will need to wait for 6 turns before you can use them again. You are then stuck using her first ability, Gemstone Feathers, which deals low damage and heals herself. That’s not great.

Although Cecilia is one of the Fastest Espers in Dislyte, this still does not quite overcome the glaring cooldown issue. Even with the +30 SPD from her Divine Gate 4 Resonance when any ally is currently not alive, you will still find her waiting a long time to get her abilities back online. This is also assuming you can even get her Resonance that far up, given her Legendary Shimmer status.

  • Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +30%
  • At the start of the bearer’s turn, if they are incapacitated, 100% chance of dispelling 1 debuff from themself

Cecilia Equipment

Due to the long cooldowns of Cecilia’s abilities, it’s pretty crucial to get this down in any way you can. In addition, adding some extra protection to the team via Shields can be useful given that damage buffs will be pretty useful for her. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

  • Ocean: Grants 35% chance of reducing all ability cooldowns by 1 turn at the start of each turn.
  • Aegis: All allied Espers start battle with a Shield equal to 15% of their max HP which lasts 2 turns.

Lastly, Cecilia’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize HP BONUS, RESIST, and SPD.
