Is Elliot a Good Esper in Dislyte?

Elliot is slightly different from your usual Controller Espers in that he also possesses some Defender type capabilities. In particular, he is able to Taunt the enemy in order to soak up the damage his ally Espers would have otherwise taken. Additionally, he can increase the cooldowns of an enemy which can be particularly effective against enemies you know are about to unleash powerful abilities.

However, he is somewhat niche in terms of his kit and therefore not the best pick for a lot of the structured content such as the Ritual Miracle or Desolate Lands. Despite this, he can work as a great counter to certain SPD cleave compositions in Point War, Holobattle, and Temporal Tower.

Elliot Abilities

In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. • ATK +255
  • HP +9,876
  • Base ATK, Base DEF, and Base HP +30%
  • When casting Pure Enlightenment, the bearer has a 100% chance of gaining DEF Up for 1 turn

Elliot Equipment

Elliot is a somewhat tank-like Controller that can also clear enemy buffs. However, his ability to tank is slightly hampered by the relatively low chance rate of his Taunt debuffs landing. As such, you’ll want to increase his ACC to increase the chance these will land. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:

  • Wind: SPD +25%
  • Recurve: ACC +25%

Lastly, Elliot’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize HP BONUS and SPD.
