Masteries are often overlooked by Raid Shadow Legends beginners. However, they are vital to building strong Champions. Follow this Raid Shadow Legends Masteries Guide for all you need to know about making the most of the Masteries feature.
What are Masteries
Masteries are additional skills/buffs that you can add to your Champions. You need to collect Mastery Scrolls in order to activate them. Rarer Mastery Scrolls are required as you add more Masteries to your Champion. There are 3 different Mastery Skill Trees that can be activated for a Champion. These are identical for each Champion. However, there is a limit to how many Masteries each Champion can activate.
You can only activate 2 Mastery Skill Trees for each Champion. Once you have activated a 2nd Skill Tree then the 3rd Skill Tree becomes locked and cannot be activated. Additionally, each Mastery Skill Tree has 6 levels with a limit within each level to the number of Masteries which can be activated.
At Level 1, only 1 Mastery can be activated for each Skill Tree. For levels 2 to 5, a maximum of 3 Masteries can be activated at each level across both Skill Trees. 2 of these must be on 1 Skill Tree and 1 on the other Skill Tree. At level 6, only 1 Mastery can be activated in total.
Masteries are found by navigating to the Champion you want to improve via the Champions menu button. You then select the Masteries tab for this Champion. This will show you how many Masteries Scrolls you currently have for this Champion and which Masteries can be activated. Clicking into this area will take you to the Skill Trees. Here you can select the Masteries you wish to activate assuming that you have the required Masteries Scrolls.
