Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte

As outlined in our detailed Dislyte Equipment Guide, there are a lot of different types of Equipment available to give to your Espers. The buffs granted from a set can vary hugely and range from buffing your speed, all the way to giving allied Espers a Shield at the start of a battle. In this Dislyte Guide, let’s take a look at some of the Best Equipment Sets that will prove useful across a lot of content.

Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte

Below are what we consider the Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte. Of course, not all of these will be viable with every Esper but these Sets do represent some of the most widely used in the game due to buffs that huge utility. For specific Esper builds be sure to check our individual Esper Build Guides.

Wind Equipment Set

Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte - Xuan Pin Wind Set

Straight out of the gate let’s get to one of our favorite Equipment Sets in Dislyte – the Wind Set. This set buffs one of the most important stats in the whole game, SPD. Indeed, with a full set, this piece of Equipment will buff the Espers SPD by a massive 25%.

SPD is super important in Dislyte due to it determining when each Esper acts in a battle. Therefore, at the start of a battle, the Esper with the highest Esper will get to go first. If your whole team has higher SPD than the enemy then they will act before the enemy has a chance to respond. This can be devastating and works great for those Espers with buffs and debuffs that you want to get out early.

War Equipment Set

Next up in this list of the Best Dislyte Equipment is the War Set. With this equipped, your Esper gains an extra 30% ATK. This pretty much works great with any Fighter Esper and can also be at home on other Espers who you looking to build into a hybrid DPS like Falken.

The War Set, along with the Wind Set, will probably be amongst the Equipment you use the most. As such, you’ll need to do a lot of farming to get some with good secondary stats for all the Espers that need them. Thankfully, you can get both of these by farming Kronos in the Ritual Miracle.

Avatara Equipment Set

Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte - Gaius Avatara Set

The Avatara Set is another that shouldn’t be overlooked. With this equipped, your Espers will have a 25% chance of making a counterattack whenever they take damage.

This can be super useful when paired with an Esper who gets another chance of getting a debuff on the enemy with their counter. Or even with a Fighter Esper who will be able to get an extra burst of damage out. Even just 2 or 3 extra turns from this during a battle can make a huge difference when used with the right Esper.

Fiery Equipment Set

Another one of the Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte is the Fiery Set. Again, it is damage focused, but this time it increases the C. RATE of the Esper it is given to by 20%. This makes a huge difference for your main damage dealers who will see a huge increase in their DPS with each Crit that make. Getting the right Esper’s C. RATE to 100% is a game changer, making sure they crit with every attack.

In particular, there are certain Esper who have abilities that will get extra buffs whenever they or an ally make a Crit. For example, Yun Chuan has a passive ability that allows him to inflict Third-Eye Seal on targets whenever he makes a crit. This summons Yun Chuan’s dog to make an assist attack that steals a buff and inflicts Sear.

Recurve Equipment Set

Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte - Lucas Recurve Set

The Recurve Set is a huge asset to any Esper who has a focus on getting debuffs out onto the enemy. With this set equipped, your Esper will see their ACC increase by an additional 25%. This will be a great asset to Controller Espers in particular, such as Lucas, who see a lot of their utility tied up in preventing the enemy from taking turns.

Indeed, what use is a Controller if their Stuns or Freezes very rarely actually land? With high ACC you’ll make sure this isn’t a problem and will transform them from an afterthought for the enemy to their primary target if they want to get their best abilities out.

Thunder Equipment Set

The Thunder Set pairs very well with the Fiery Set that we previously mentioned and increases the C. DMG of an Esper by an enormous 40%. Of course, you’ll always want their C. RATE high to ensure that you are actually making use of this.

Thunder works great on Fighter Espers who are all about their DPS or with Espers who have a kit that pushes them toward a Crit build. Alternatively, you can make interesting Crit hybrid builds, for example with Donar who is actually a Defender but can also make some incredibly powerful hits with a build focused in this direction.

Tyranny Equipment Set

Best Equipment Sets in Dislyte - Gabrielle Tyranny Set

Any Esper that has multi-hit AoE abilities will benefit greatly from the Tyranny Equipment Set. When this is equipped, every time the Esper deals damage, they have a 20% chance of stunning the target. For example, this is a great fit for Espers like Gabrielle who becomes a Support/Controller when using this.

Aegis Equipment Set

The Aegis Set is easily of one the Best Dislyte Equipment Sets for adding a little extra survivability to your team. With this equipped, all allies start the battle with a Shield equal to 15% of max HP.

This can be very useful if you know you are going to take a barrage of damage right at the start and won’t be able to outspeed them. With the Aegis Set, your low HP Espers will have a chance to survive this first salvo in order to get their abilities out.

In a similar vein, the Light Set, which grants Immunity at the start of a battle, and the Immensus Set, which increases RESIST by 25% can be very beneficial. However, in these cases, they only benefit the Esper that they are equipped to.
