Is Chalmers a Good Esper in Dislyte?
Chalmers is very effective at bringing down the HP of enemy Espers with high HP such as Defenders and Healers. This is driven by abilities that see their HP scale off of the enemy’s max HP. However, this does come at a cost whereby his abilities also sacrifice some of his own damage.
For example, his third ability, Gold Pulse, deals extra damage equal to 10% of the enemy’s max HP but at the same time decreases Chalmers’ current HP by 50%. As such, you’ll need a good Healer to keep him alive for his insane damage scales and also possibly a Nether Equipment Set so that he can heal himself.
Chalmers Abilities
In battle, an Esper will utilize their abilities in order to deal damage to the enemy and support their team. All Dislyte Esper Abilities start at Level 1 and can be increased further depending on the ability. Each additional level will improve the ability in a certain way. For more details on improving an Esper’s abilities, check out our Dislyte Esper Guide.

Chalmers Equipment
As Chalmers sees his abilities sacrifice some of his own HP, it can be useful to have a way of keeping this topped up. Additionally, looking for a way to increase his damage can be another good route to take. Therefore, you should look to apply the following sets:
- Nether: 35% of damage dealt is converted to HP
- War: ATK +30%
- Fiery: C.RATE +20%
Lastly, Chalmers’s Equipment characteristics should prioritize ATK BONUS and SPD.
