Sylvie, a variant of Loki, is a powerful character in Marvel Strike Force who specializes in dealing damage to multiple enemies and removing buffs from them. She was introduced as part of the Bifrost event and is a great addition to any team that is looking to improve their performance in Raid battles.

Is Sylvie Good in Marvel Strike Force

Sylvie is an essential part of the Bifrost team. She can flip Deflect and clear positive effects while applying Defense Down. When used in Raids, Sylvie gains additional power and more ways to control the battle with several abilities to slow enemies and flip Taunt. Additionally, she can make all allies, even Loki’s Mirror Image summons, apply bleed to their attacks.

Sylvie and other Bifrost members gain bonus effects to their abilities in Dark Dimension mode, making them excellent choices for this game mode as well. Alongside her Bifrost allies, she grants additional team-wide Focus and other effects that can fill the entire team’s Speed Bar.

Sylvie Abilities

All characters have a range of abilities that determine how useful they are in different game modes and how well they synergize with other characters. Let’s take a look at Sylvie’s powerful abilities at their maximum level:

Slashing Fury [Basic] [Max Level: 7]

• Attack primary target for 300% damage + flip Deflect. Chain to 2 adjacent targets for 300% damage + flip Deflect.
• In Raids, reduce Speed Bar for primary and secondary targets by 3% + 3% per Bifrost ally.
• Counterattack breaks this Chain.
• This attack cannot be blocked.
• In Raids, when this character performs a Counterattack or Assist and has Regeneration, gain +100% Damage on that Counterattack or Assist.

Variant Vendetta [Special] [Max Level: 7]

• Attack primary target for 430% damage + apply Offense Down for 2 turns + copy and clear 2 positive effects, except Taunt, + apply Stun.
• Chain to 4 adjacent targets for 430% damage + apply Offense Down for 2 turns + copy and clear 2 positive effects.
• Counterattack breaks this Chain.

Timeless Trickster [Ultimate] [Max Level: 7]

• Attack all enemies for 500% damage + flip Speed Up + apply Slow.
• Reduce Speed Bar for all enemies by 5% + 5% per Bifrost ally.
• In Raids or Dark Dimension:
  • Flip Taunt on all enemies.
  • Reduce Speed Bar for all enemies by 15% + 15% per Bifrost ally instead.
• If Loki is an ally, this attack cannot be blocked and gains +25% extra Damage.
• This attack cannot be dodged.

Goddess of Mischief [Passive] [Max Level: 5]

• On Turn, heal self for 5% of Max Health + 5% of Max Health per non-minion Asgardian ally.
• On Turn, if there are at least 2 enemies, Mind Control 1 random enemy to attack a different random enemy. The controlled enemy gains +75% Damage for this attack. If Loki is an ally, the controlled enemy gains an additional +100% Damage.
• On Death of an ally Loki or Loki Mirror Image, fill Speed Bar for self and all Bifrost allies by 15%.
• Gain +65% Focus.
• In Raids:
  • On successful attack by this character, a Bifrost ally, or a Loki Mirror Image ally, apply Bleed to each attacked target.
  • On enemy Minion death, fill Speed Bar for self and all Bifrost allies by 15%.
  • Loki and Loki Mirror Image allies gain +30% Damage.
  • Bifrost allies gain +65% Focus.

Best T4 for Sylvie

Sylvie’s T4 abilities can make a big difference in her performance, so it is important to choose wisely which ones to upgrade. Here is our T4 priority list for Sylvie in Marvel Strike Force:

1. Ultimate (Timeless Trickster) – Sylvie’s Ultimate ability is her best ability, and it is the first one you should upgrade with T4 materials. It will deal more damage to all opponents and will reduce their Speed Bar by up to 75% in Raids or Dark Dimensions.

2. Passive (Goddess of Mischief) – Sylvie’s Passive ability is the next one you should upgrade with T4 materials after her Ultimate ability. This ability applies Bleed to enemies through all Bifrost allies in Raids, even Loki’s summons.

Best ISO-8 for Sylvie

When it comes to selecting an ISO-8 class for Sylvie in Marvel Strike Force, the best choice is Striker. The Striker class boosts Sylvie’s damage and allows her to perform extra attacks. These attacks can further reduce the speed bar of her targets. This class is good for Sylvie if you want to maximize her damage output and control the enemy team more effectively.

The Skirmisher class can also be used to increase her Focus. However, she already has the means to increase the Focus of all Bifrost allies in Raids. 

Best Sylvie Team in Marvel Strike Force

The only really powerful team pick for Sylvie is the Bifrost team. They are Vahl, Beta Ray Bill, Loki (Teen), and Loki. In this team, Sylvie sees most of her skills receive bonus effects for being alongside these allies.

Loki (Teen) relies on his vital control abilities to keep himself alive and apply Regeneration to the team. Additionally, Sylvie grants a Focus buff to her Bifrost allies, enabling them to impose significant debuffs on enemies.

What sets Sylvie apart in this team is her exceptional synergy with Loki. She boosts Loki and his Mirror Images, enhancing their damage output and applying bleeding effects to their attacks. Moreover, if any of them fall in battle, the surviving Bifrost allies gain an increase in Speed Bar.
