Is Nightcrawler Good in Marvel Strike Force

Nightcrawler’s ability to Chain opponents irrespective of their distance and his unique prowess in applying Ability Block, exclusively in Raid mode, marks him out as a pioneer in the game. His Ultimate unleashes a devastating attack on all enemies, stripping away positive effects and Charged status from the primary target. Simultaneously, it grants allies Speed Up, inflicts Slow on adversaries, and prolongs the duration of positive effects on your team.

Nightcrawler’s versatile kit elevates him as a powerhouse not only in daily Raids but also across various modes, including the competitive Arena. His adaptability seamlessly integrates with diverse team compositions, making Nightcrawler a must-have asset for strategic and impactful gameplay.

Nightcrawler T4 priority

Here are the recommended T4 priorities for Nightcrawler:

  1. Passive (Bamf!) – This grants two Charged stacks on spawn, boosts Nightcrawler’s Speed, and makes the team immune to Speed reductions beyond Slow. This significantly increases his survivability and offensive potential.
  2. Ultimate (Shadow Barrage) – This increases the piercing damage and extends the duration of all positive effects by one turn. This boosts his raw damage output and extends valuable buffs, providing significant benefits for both offense and support.
  3. Basic (Night Slash) – While this T4 upgrade only activates in Raids, it’s still a strong contender for its potent effect. With 3 or more X-Men allies, it applies Ability Block to the target, disrupting enemy strategies and controlling the battlefield.

Nightcrawler ISO-8

For Nightcrawler, the Raider class is the best choice. His naturally high damage output, coupled with multi-target Special and Ultimate attacks, makes him a potent offensive force. Furthermore, the critical chance bonus will make him increase his allies’ Speed Bar more frequently, thanks to his passive.

Best Nightcrawler Team in Marvel Strike Force

Nightcrawler is a valuable asset in any Marvel Strike Force team, but he truly shines in the X-Treme X-Men Squad. This mutant crew, composed of Forge, Sunspot, Cyclops, Gambit, and Nightcrawler, is tailor-made for conquering Raid mode nodes through raw power and strategic synergy.

  • Forge: The X-Treme support teammate. Forge shields, heals, revives, and powers up the team with his ingenious inventions.
  • Nightcrawler: Nightcrawler is a devastating damage dealer. His unique abilities grant Speed Bar and Evades to his team.
  • Sunspot: This Blaster brings the heat with high area damage, perfect for clearing waves of enemies. He also applies debuffs and generates Ability Energy, further enhancing the team’s offensive prowess.
  • Cyclops: Cyclops is the team leader and has an ultimate that can deal a lot of damage. Additionally, he helps Forge revive any other allies who have been defeated.
  • Gambit: His passive always hits enemies on their turns. He can also apply several negative effects with his area attacks.
