Is Sunspot Good in Marvel Strike Force

Sunspot stands out as an exceptional character in Marvel Strike Force, going beyond the remarkable feat of granting ability energy. His Charge mechanic, embedded in his passive, takes center stage by not only fueling ability energy but also enhancing his team’s attack when stacked to the maximum. In Raids, this translates to a team kicking off battles with nearly every ability at their disposal.

During the battle, Sunspot’s Ultimate shows its power by inflicting both Offense Down and Defense Down on all enemies. Following this, his Special comes into play, prolonging negative effects for an additional two turns. Adding to his resilience, Sunspot’s passive ensures self-healing each turn, the efficacy of which escalates with his Charged stacks.

Sunspot T4 Priority

Here are the recommended T4 priorities for Sunspot:

  1. Passive (Solar Champion) –This is the most important skill and therefore the top priority for receiving T4. Only at the maximum level does he receive the ability to generate ability energy for his X-Treme X-Men allies. Additionally, it also applies Offense Down to all enemies in Raids.
  2. Ultimate (Solar Burst) –The second most important skill also receives the ability to increase allies’ ability energy at its maximum level.
  3. Special (Heatstroke) – Although not a priority, at its maximum level, this ability extends the duration of negative effects on enemies for an extra turn.

Sunspot ISO-8

Either Striker or Raider is the best choice for Sunspot’s ISO-8. The choice depends on your playing style, as both have great benefits. With Striker, it is easier to accumulate Charged, thanks to the ISO-8 bonus attacks. Raider, on the other hand, takes great advantage of all the AoE damage in his abilities.

Best Sunspot Team in Marvel Strike Force

Sunspot fills an essential role for the X-Treme X-Men in Raids and although he could work well with a mix of other X-Men or Mutants, his ideal team is made up of Nightcrawler, Forge, Cyclops, and Gambit.

  • Nightcrawler: Possesses significant offensive capabilities while synergistically boosting your team’s Speed Bar and providing Evasion buffs.
  • Forge: Forge keeps your allies safe with positive effects. In addition, he also has inventions in his passive that grant different bonuses to his team.
  • Cyclops: Leverages Sunspot’s Ultimate ability to dramatically amplify his own damage potential. Additionally, provides team-wide Focus buffs.
  • Gambit: Offers strategic Evasion buffs to the team upon critical hits. In conjunction with Sunspot, enables effective utilization of high Critical Chance strategies.
