Is Iron Man (Infinity War) Good in Marvel Strike Force?

Iron Man (Infinity War) is a versatile and powerful character in Marvel Strike Force. His ability to use his AoE attacks to hit the entire enemy team whilst applying Bleed and Defense Reduction at the same time makes him a valuable asset to the team. He can also remove positive effects from enemies, which can be particularly useful against characters who rely on buffs and also highlighting his talent as both a damage dealer and a support.

When Iron Man (Infinity War) is fighting alongside P.E.G.A.S.U.S. allies, he gains even more utility. Here, he can apply Speed Up to his allies and also spread positive effects to them. Additionally, he can grant healing, damage, and health to those allies. Lastly, in Raid battles, he can reduce enemies’ Speed Bars, and resistances, and apply Blind.

Iron Man (Infinity War) Abilities

All characters have a range of abilities that determine how useful they are in different game modes and how well they synergize with other characters. Let’s take a look at Iron Man’s (Infinity War) powerful abilities at their maximum level:

Nano Repulsor [Basic] [Max Level: 7]

  • Attack primary target for 320% damage + apply +1 Vulnerable, up to a maximum of 3.
  • Attack adjacent targets for 320% damage.
  • Gain Speed Up.
  • In Raids:
    • Reduce Speed Bar by 10% for primary target.
    • Reduce Speed Bar by 5% for adjacent targets.

Blade Barrage [Special] [Max Level: 7]

  • Attack primary target for 360% damage + apply Bleed for 2 turns and Ability Block for 2 turns.
  • Rebound Chain to 5 adjacent targets for 360% damage + apply Bleed for 2 turns.
  • Apply Speed Up for 2 turns to self and all P.E.G.A.S.U.S. and Thor (Infinity War) allies.
  • In Raids, apply an additional Bleed for 2 turns to all secondary attacks.

Infinity Beam [Ultimate] [Max Level: 7]

  • Attack all enemies for 300% Piercing, clear 3 positive effects, and apply Defense Down for 2 turns.
  • If Kestrel is an active ally, attack all enemies for 600% Piercing instead.
  • Apply Blind for 2 turns to the primary target.
  • Spread all positive effects, excluding Taunt and Stealth, on self to all P.E.G.A.S.U.S. allies and a random Thor (Infinity War) ally.
  • Apply Speed Up for 2 turns to self and all P.E.G.A.S.U.S. and Thor (Infinity War) allies.
  • In Raids, apply Blind to all enemies with Vulnerable.
  • This attack is Unavoidable and cannot be blocked.

Nanotech Upgrades [Passive] [Max Level: 5]

  • When a positive effect is applied to this character, any P.E.G.A.S.U.S. ally, or a Thor (Infinity War) ally, heal all allies for 3% of this character’s Max Health.
  • When this character or a P.E.G.A.S.U.S. ally drops below 50% Health:
    • Clear Disrupted on that character.
    • Apply Speed Up and 2 Deathproof to that character.
    • If the ally that dropped below 50% Health was Rescue, apply Stealth to that character and Taunt to this character.
  • Gain +30% Damage.
  • Gain +30% Max Health.
  • P.E.G.A.S.U.S. and Thor (Infinity War) allies gain +30% Damage.
  • P.E.G.A.S.U.S. allies gain +30% Max Health.
  • In Raids:
    • Gain an additional +30% Damage.
    • P.E.G.A.S.U.S. allies gain an additional +30% Damage.
    • Lower Resistance by 30% for all enemies with Vulnerable.

Iron Man (Infinity War) T4 priority

T4 materials are rare and valuable resources that can be used to upgrade your character’s abilities to their max level. However, not all abilities are worth upgrading with T4 materials. Here are the T4 priorities for Iron Man’s (Infinity War) abilities:

  1. Ultimate (Infinity Beam) – This benefits most from being maxed out. It increases damage with Kestrel as an ally. It also applies Blind for two turns. Additionally, in Raid mode, it applies Blind to all enemies with Vulnerable.
  2. Passive (Nanotech Upgrades) – His passive is a key component of success in Tech Raids. It boosts the damage of all allies to the maximum, especially P.E.G.A.S.U.S. allies.

Iron Man (Infinity War) ISO-8

The best ISO-8 class for Iron Man (Infinity War) is Striker. It increases his damage output and gives him a bonus attack on enemies with vulnerable status. Mainly, his extra attacks will reduce the enemies’ Speed Bar in Raids more often.

Best Iron Man (Infinity War) Team in Marvel Strike Force

Iron Man (Infinity War) is a powerful character that synergizes well with other Tech allies. However, the best team for him in Marvel Strike Force is the P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Team. They have high damage output, strong buffs, reliable healing, and effective control over the enemy team. The P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Team consists of the following characters:

  • Rescue: The healer and buffer of the team. She can apply Barrier and Regeneration to all allies with her special ability, and she can cleanse negative effects from Tech allies.
  • Kestrel: She can prevent enemies from summoning, as well as granting extra focus and resistance to P.E.G.A.S.U.S. allies. Furthermore, she specializes in applying Defense Down to enemies and taking advantage of it.
  • Darkhawk: He grants extra ability energy, critical chance, critical damage and counterattack for his P.E.G.A.S.U.S. allies. In addition to filling his allies’ Speed Bar while reducing the enemies’ Speed Bar in Raids.
  • Ironheart (MK II): She applies Immunity, Deflect, and also generates ability energy for her allies. In Raids, in addition to helping to increase the Speed Bar of allies, she can apply Trauma, Stun, and Defense Down.
