In this Pokemon Unite Guide, we take a closer look at the Supporter Pokemon, Comfey, checking out her moveset and recommending some of the best builds for her. Comfey joined the Pokemon franchise in Gen 7 and is known for her unique healing ability, Floral Healing.
In Pokemon Unite, Comfey got off to a somewhat rocky start with a low win rate. However, after some work on her kit, she has seen this improve significantly. Players are now coming around to giving Comfey a shot, and this guide will provide you with everything you need to know if you are one of them!

Is Comfey Good in Pokemon Unite?
Comfey is a Supporter with a kit that concentrates on giving buffs to her allies with Sweet Kiss and healing and protection with Flower Healing. Moreover, she possesses two damage-dealing move upgrades that can stun or hinder the mobility of an adversary.
Comfey cannot be targeted when tied to an ally with her Synthesis ability. The only way she can sustain damage is if she separates from the ally and wanders off by herself. She can be taken down quite easily when alone and it is therefore important to stick your lane buddy!
Due to Comfey lacking damage abilities, it can be difficult to gain experience when playing with her. However, you can receive experience while healing an ally with Synthesis if you are holding the Experience Share item. Indeed, before she can learn Vine Whip, she can only fight with her normal attack making it important to make use of this item.
With Vine Whip, Comfey can now deliver higher damage to foes and Wild Pokemon making your life from this point a little easier. Triage, Comfey’s passive ability, enables Comfey to acquire 8 stacks of flowers with each stack improving her moves. With the exception of Vine Whip, Grass Knot, and Magical Leaf, each time Comfey employs a move, it uses all of her flower stacks.
Pokemon Unite Comfey Best Build
As mentioned above, Comfey’s passive ability is Triage which sees her gain a flower stack every 1.5 seconds or when she enters tall grass. She can have up to a maximum of eight flower stacks in total. Each stack improves her moves. Additionally, when in close proximity to allied Pokemon with 50% or less Health, Comfey travels 25% faster.
When Comfey uses Synthesis, Flower Healing, or Sweet Kiss, it can bond to an allied Pokemon and provide a shield equal to 15% of Comfey’s maximum health. While linked, Comfey is immune to assaults and steadily replenishes HP.
In addition, she absorbs extra Aeos energy when a linked Pokemon obtains more than it can hold and uses the same amount of energy to score as the linked Pokemon does. After detaching from an ally, her subsequent basic attack is upgraded.
Comfey’s basic attacks become boosted every 3 attacks, dealing extra damage and granting Comfey two flowers. The first move Comfey gains is Synthesis which links her to an ally and provides them a shield and heals. The amount of HP recovered increases with the number of flowers stacks that Comfey had.
Move 1 Upgrade Options
The first upgrade option for move 1 is Floral Healing. This gives the specified ally Pokemon a shield by attaching to them if they are unattached. Whenever an allied Pokemon is linked, it is healed. When used, all flowers are used. The amount of HP recovered increases with the number of flowers consumed. Any excess healing is transformed into a shield.
The other upgrade option for move 1 is Sweet Kiss. This gives the specified ally Pokemon a shield by attaching to them if they are unattached. Charge power for up to 2.5 seconds while linked to an allied Pokemon, then unleash it to make opponent Pokemon in the area of influence infatuated. Pokemon get captivated for a longer time with more flowers used.
Unfortunately, Sweet Kiss is pretty terrible. It’s a weak move that when picked robs you of the only source of healing that Comfey gets, and that’s a HUGE deal for a Support Pokemon. On the other hand, if one picks Floral Healing, you can still get moves with hindrances from second move upgrades.
Move 2 Upgrade Options
Moving on, we have the second move which is Vine Whip. When used, whip-like vines emerge in front of the Pokemon, damaging and slowing enemies in the area of impact.
The first upgrade option for move 2 is Magical Leaf. This throws three dispersing leaves every second for five seconds. When they are dispatched, the leaves hurt any opponent Pokemon in the area of effect. Even Pokemon hidden in thick grass will get targeted by these leaves.
When a Pokemon is hit by these leaves, they are marked for 4 seconds, this refreshes with every hit. A Pokemon will be stunned if it obtains six marks in total. The area of effect of this move is expanded if it is employed when the user is linked to an allied Pokemon.
Grass Knot is the second upgrade option. This releases vines in the specified direction, damaging and rooting any enemy Pokemon it strikes. This attack can hit up to two enemy Pokemon. Grass Knot drags the second Pokemon to the first’s position and deals more damage to both if it strikes two opponent Pokemon that are within 75% of the entire range. When linked to an ally, the range of this attack is extended.
This time both moves are pretty good. Magical Leaf has a bit of a higher win rate than Grass Knot, so Magical Leaf is the recommended option. However, Grass Knot does offer some more crowd control than Magical Leaf.
Comfey’s Unite Move
Comfey gains Flowery Fields Forever at level 8. When used, Comfey makes a sizable ring of tall grass around herself for six seconds. Along with other tall grass on the map, Pokemon cannot be seen in this tall grass. Allies who enter this tall grass will continuously receive healing. This tall grass produces flowers for Comfey. Access to an upgraded Floral Healing and Sweet Kiss is made possible via these special flowers.
Comfey’s Best Skill Loadout
The best Comfey loadout is pairing Floral Healing with Magical Leaf. This loadout offers the best healing output Comfey can achieve thanks to Floral Healing. This also allows Comfey some good damage and crowd control thanks to Magical Leaf.
Best Held Items for Comfey in Pokemon Unite
