Is Alexander the Great a good general in Evony?

Alexander the Great is a solid option for a Ground PvP General. His special skill gives a large boost to Ground Troop attack and march size during rallies. However, there are better options available for both big spenders and low spenders.

Alexander the Great – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Conquest

Increases ground troops’ attack by 20% when General is leading the army to attack. Increases Rally Capacity by 15% when General is leading the army to launch Alliance War.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Alexander the Great will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Marching Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack +10%, Marching Ground Troop Defense +15%.
• 2 Star – Increases Troop Death into Wounded Rate by 10% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 3 Star – March Size Capacity +14%.
• 4 Star – Marching Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack +10%, Marching Ground Troop HP +15%.
• 5 Star – Marching Ground Troop Attack +20%, Defense and HP +15%.

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground troop attack, HP, and speed.

This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
