Is Ashoka a good general in Evony?

Ashoka is a pure Evony Duty General. He is a Keep Duty Officer. His skill increases ranged attack and decreases enemy ground HP when placed on duty in the Keep. He is a great option for when you are taking part in PvP.

Ashoka – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Wise Emperor

Increases ranged troops’ attack by 20% and reduces enemy ground troops’ HP by 15% when the General is the Keep Officer.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Ashoka will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, In-city Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense +25% and HP +25%.
• 2 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, In-city Troops Defense +20% and HP +20%.
• 3 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, In-city Construction Speed +20%.
• 4 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, Enemy Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense -25% and HP -25%.
• 5 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, In-city Ranged Troop Attack +30%, In-city Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense and HP +25%.

Ashoka – Specialities

These skills are unlocked once the Evony General reaches level 25. They can be expensive to develop, requiring Gems and Runestones. Read our Evony General Guide for more details.

Ashoka – Builds

As a pure Duty General, there is no need to add skill books or equipment to this general. These have no impact on the general when they are on duty at a building. You should instead focus on cultivation to improve their duty rank. See our Evony General Guide for more details.
