Is Cnut the Great a good general in Evony?

Cnut the Great is a pure Evony Attack Sub City General. He is great against enemies with heavy ranged and ground marches. Ranged attack is reduced by a massive 25% and Ground HP by 15% with just his special skill.

He also reduces Mounted HP by 15%, but this is less important to PvP.

Cnut the Great – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Chief of Expedition

Reduces enemy ranged troops’ attack by 25% and enemy ground troops and mounted troops HP by 15% when General is leading the army.

Cnut the Great – Builds

It is a good idea to focus your sub cities on building one troop type and tilting the general build towards this.

The below builds outline which skill books and equipment refines you should use depending on the troop type you prefer. However, Cnut the Great is well suited to Mounted troops.
