In Evony, you are able to gain the loyalty of Champions by offering them gifts. Once you have gained their loyalty, they will join you and grant you additional buffs. In this Evony Champion Guide, we will take a look at exactly how to get Champions, how to upgrade them, what kind of buffs each of them gives you, and more!

What are Champions in Evony
Champions in Evony are special characters whom you are able to recruit to your cause for extra buffs. All players unlock Helen once they reach Keep level 11, but you are also able to unlock more using special items such as Bavarian Floral Basket and Thread Ball. Below are all the Champions currently in Evony:

- Elisabeth, Budapest Dreams
- Ariadne, Beauty in Labyrinth
- Dulcinea, La Mancha Charm
- Esmeralda, The Wanderer’s Dance

Champions can have their buffs improved by increasing their Loyalty Level. To increase their Loyalty Level, you must offer them gifts such as the Love Box and the Ruby Necklace. Keep reading this Evony Champion Guide for more details on these buffs and special gift items.
Evony Champion Skills
As mentioned, each Champion can obtain 4 different buffs, known as Champion Skills. These Skills are unlocked as the Loyalty Level of the Evony Champion is increased. The Skills can also be upgraded up to level 7 as the Loyalty Level increases up to a maximum level of 28. Skills are unlocked and leveled at the following Loyalty Levels:

How to Increase Evony Champion Loyalty Level
To get the most out of your Champions, you’ll want to increase their Loyalty Level so that they can learn new Skills and also level them to improve the buffs. There are 4 different ways to increase Loyalty as follows:
- Greet – you can greet Champions ten times a day. Each time you greet them, they gain 15,000 loyalty.
- Tap – you can tap the Champion fifteen times a day for 7,000 loyalty each time.
- Love Box – you can gift Love Box items to increase their loyalty by 2,000 each time.
- Ruby Necklace – you can gift Ruby Necklace items to increase their loyalty by 12,500 each time.
How to get Love Box
As mentioned, each time you gift a Champion with a Love Box, it will increase their loyalty by 2,000. You can get the Love Box item in the following ways:
- Gathering – a maximum of 3 a day.
- Monster Hunting – maximum of 7 a day.
- Login Rewards – during certain events, these will be given out as login rewards.
- Champion Monthly Card – a monthly pack that gives daily rewards, including Love Box.
How to get Ruby Necklace
As mentioned, each time you gift a Champion with a Ruby Necklace, it will increase their loyalty by 12,500. You can get the Ruby Necklace item in the following ways:
- Packs – bought using money.
- Events – special reward during specific events.
- Champion Monthly Card – a monthly pack that gives daily rewards, including Love Box.
Loyalty Level Rewards
Each time you increase the Loyalty Level of a Champion, you also get a small reward. This includes Gems, Generals, Blood of Ares, and Runestones.
How to get Evony Champions
As mentioned, all players automatically get Helen at level 1 once their Keep hits level 11. However, to get other Champions, you must collect certain items that can then be composed together to create an item that unlocks a specific Champion. The table below shows which item is required to unlock each Evony Champion and which items you must compose to create it.

How to get Bavarian Flower
To unlock Elisabeth, you need to get 400 Bavarian Flowers, which can then be composed into a Bavarian Floral Basket. Bavarian Flowers are obtained by buying them using a special item called Champion’s Token. These are only found during special Champion Events and gained by buying packs, killing Monsters, and Gathering.
How to get Ariadne’s Thread
To unlock Ariadne, you need to get 400 Ariadne’s Thread, which can then be composed into an Ariadne’s Thread Ball. Ariadne’s Threads are obtained by buying them using a special item called Champion’s Token. These are only found during special Champion Events and gained by buying packs, killing Monsters, and Gathering.
How to get La Mancha Armor Fragment
To unlock Dulcinea, you need to get 400 La Mancha Armor Fragments, which can then be composed into a La Mancha Armor. La Mancha Armor Fragments are obtained by buying them using a special item called Champion’s Token. These are only found during special Champion Events and gained by buying packs, killing Monsters, and Gathering.
How to get Champion’s Tokens
As mentioned, to get each of the special items required to unlock the Champions, you must obtain Champion’s Tokens. These can then, in turn be used to buy the desired composable Champion item. Unfortunately, you can only get these during special Champion Events, which do not always run. You must therefore keep an eye out for them and make the most of them.
When the events do run, there are a few different ways that you can get Champion’s Tokens. This includes the following:
- Hunting Boss Monsters
- Hunting Event Monsters
- Hunting Normal Monsters
- Buying Event Packs
How to get Crown of Empress
To get Josephine you must use an item called the Crown of Empress. Currently, this is only available via the Napoleon Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Oracle Fragment
To get Cassandra you must use an item called the Oracle Fragment. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Carolingian Jewelry
To get Judith you must use an item called the Carolingian Jewelry. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Bath Invitation
To get Marcia, you must use an item called the Bath Invitation. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Golden Wheat Ear
To get Demeter, you must use an item called the Golden Wheat Ear. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Staff of Wisdom
To get Minerva, you must use an item called the Staff of Wisdom. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Solar Crown
To get Nefertiti, you must use an item called the Solar Crown. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Seashell
To get Simonetta, you must use an item called the Seashell. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
How to get Turan Strongbow
To get Goshasp, you must use an item called the Turan Strongbow. Currently, this is only available via the King Party event by getting your cake level up to level 5.
Champion Skins and Scenes
Evony Champions can also have Skins and Scenes unlocked, which grant additional buffs. Typically, these are locked behind one-off/rare events that require significant spending to acquire. However, a few can be acquired via simply playing, such as the first skin for Helen, which is obtained after the Champion reaches loyalty level 15 and your Keep level 30.
