Is Ahmose I a good general in Evony?

Ahmose I can be used in both attack and defense with your Ranged Troops and will do an excellent job in both roles. His Special Skill, Liberator of Egypt, sees the attack and defence of Ranged Troops buffed by 55% and their HP by 40% right from the outset. He also has no Skill Book restrictions, giving you another quick, easy win. However, as a premium General, he will cost you money to Ascend, which you will need to do to really make the most of him.

Ahmose I – Special Skill

Liberator of Egypt

Increases ranged troops’ attack and defense by 55% and ranged troops’ HP by 40% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Ahmose I will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +10%, Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense and HP +5%
• 2 Star – Attacking Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%
• 3 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +15%, Ranged Troop HP +15%
• 4 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense +20%, March Size Capacity +5%
• 5 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +40%, Ranged Troop Defense and HP +25%

Ranged PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very range-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ranged attack whilst also topping up ranged troop HP and Defense via equipment refines. This build will ensure you do maximum damage, especially in the early game when players are quite mounted heavy.

Ranged Defense

Range defense build for players who are very range focused or do not want the gem repair cost associated with siege machines. Although not as powerful as a siege defense, it is still very effective.
