Is Artemis a good general in Evony?

Artemis is a top-tier choice for a Mounted PvP or Monster Hunting General, offering a well-rounded kit with additional buffs from her exclusive skin and covenants. She also has no Skill Book restrictions, allowing full customization to maximize her build. However, her main drawback is that most of her buffs only apply when attacking. As a result, she is not well-suited for Defense, and you should consider other Generals for that role.

Artemis – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Goddess of the Hunt

Increases mounted troops’ attack and defense by 50% and increases ground troops and mounted troops’ HP by 40% when General is leading the army to attack.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Artemis will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Attacking Mounted Troop Defense +20% and HP +20%.
• 2 Star – Attacking Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%.
• 3 Star – Mounted Troop Attack +30%, Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Defense +15%.
• 4 Star – Attacking Mounted Troop Attack +20%, Attacking Ground Troop and Mounted Troop HP +20%.
• 5 Star – When attacking, Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack +40%, Mounted Troop Defense and HP +25%.

Artemis – Specialities

These skills are unlocked once the Evony General reaches level 25. They can be expensive to develop, requiring Gems and Runestones. Read our Evony General Guide for more details.

• March Speed +10%

Applying a Skin to your General grants some great extra buffs, below are those available for this General.

Big Prey Hunter

This build is ideal for players who are looking to take down big monster prey. It sacrifices everything in favor of mounted attack and march size via equipment refines and skill books. This build will ensure you do maximum damage to boss monsters on the first hit. This will minimize your losses and allow you to take on higher-level bosses for better rewards.

• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop Attack Against Monster – Mounted Attack Against Monster +45%
• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop Attack – Mounted Attack +25%
• Lvl 4 March Size – March Size +12%
• Equipment Refines:
• Spear – Mounted Troop Attack % x4
• Armor – Mounted Troop Defense % x4
• Boots – Mounted Troop Defense % x4
• Helmet – Mounted Troop HP % x4
• Leg Armor – Mounted Troop HP % x4

Looter Hunter Hybrid

This build will allow you to take down big boss monsters whilst also maximizing your loot return. It replaces the march size skill book with the luck skill book to increase the double-item drop rate. This will of course decrease your damage but the double drops are good compensation.

• Lvl 4 Luck – Double Items Drop Rate +18%
• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop Attack – Mounted Attack +25%

Mounted PvP

Mounted PvP can be very useful in the early and late stages of the game. Early game, players will have huge, mounted marches which you can destroy with your higher-mounted buff. Late game you will start to come across keeps set up with ground troop defenses, mounted troops annihilate them. This build will maximize your mounted attack and speed for a mounted PvP march.
