Is Gao Changgong a good general in Evony?

Gao Changgong is an excellent General for Ground Troop with a kit that spreads the buffs around well to the right places, making for a very powerful yet durable ground march. His buffs are also active in both attack and defense meaning he can be used in both of these roles effectively.

Gao Changgong – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Prince of Lanling

Increases ground troops’ attack and defense by 55% and ground troops’ HP by 40% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Gao Changgong will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Ground Troop Attack and HP +10%
• 2 Star – Attacking Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%
• 3 Star – Ground Troop Attack +20%, Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense +10%
• 4 Star – Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack and HP +15%
• 5 Star – Ground Troop Attack and Defense +25%, March Size Capacity +8%

Gao Changgong – Specialities

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
