Is Hatshepsut a good general in Evony?

Hatshepsut can be used as a Ranged PvP General, where she does a great job with a march that is both powerful and durable. This is led by her Special Skill, Maatkare, which adds 55% to Ranged Troop attack and HP, as well as 40% to the defense of Ranged Troops and Siege Machines when she has any Spiritual Beast or Dragon attached. Don’t be fooled by the Siege Machine buff, however, as she is overall very weak with this troop type when considering the rest of her kit.

Hatshepsut – Special Skill

Maatkare

Increases ranged troops’ attack and HP by 55% when General is leading the army to attack. Increases ranged troops and siege machines’ defense by 40% when General brings any Dragon or Spiritual Beast to attack.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Hatshepsut will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Attacking Ranged Troop Attack and Defense +10%
• 2 Star – Attacking Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%
• 3 Star – When attacking, Ranged Troop Attack +15%, March Size Capacity +6%
• 4 Star – When attacking, Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +15%, Ranged Troop HP +15%
• 5 Star – Attacking Ranged Troop Attack and Defense +35%, March Size Capacity +8%

Ranged PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very range-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ranged attack whilst also topping up ranged troop HP and Defense via equipment refines. This build will ensure you do maximum damage, especially in the early game when players are quite mounted heavy.
