Is Hera a good general in Evony?

Hera is an excellent choice as your Keep Duty General. Indeed, her Special Skill, Hera’s Majesty, adds a useful 15% construction speed, but, perhaps more importantly, it also increases the attack and defense of your troops by 15% and reduces the attack of enemy-ranged troops and siege machines by a massive 20%. This General is certainly not to be missed if you have a chance of picking her up.

Hera – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Hera’s Majesty

Increases the construction speed and your troops’ attack and defense by 15% and reduces enemy ranged troops and siege machines’ attack by 20% when the General is the Keep Officer.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Hera will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense +10% and HP +10%.
• 2 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, In-city Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense +25% and HP +25%.
• 3 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense and HP +15%, Construction Speed +10%.
• 4 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, In-city Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +20%, In-city Troops Attack +10%.
• 5 Star – When General is the Keep Officer, Enemy Siege Machine HP and Defense -20%, Construction Speed +20%.

Hera – Specialities

These skills are unlocked once the Evony General reaches level 25. They can be expensive to develop, requiring Gems and Runestones. Read our Evony General Guide for more details.

Strike

• March Speed +10%
• Marching Mounted Troop Attack +20%

Sage (Applied to Keep Officer)

• March Speed +10%

Aegean Guardian (Applied to Keep Officer)

• Attacking Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack +15%
• Attacking Mounted Troop and Ground Troop HP +15%
• Construction Speed +15%

As a pure Evony Duty General, there is no need to add skill books or equipment to this general. These have no impact on the general when they are on duty at a building.
