Is Lucilla a good general in Evony?

Lucilla is a super versatile General with skills active in both attack and defense making her a great choice for Ground PvP and Ground Defense. This is driven by her Special Skill, Ambition for Power, which increases Ground Troop attack by a massive 50% with a further 40% to their HP and defense. On top of this, she has no Skill Book restrictions, allowing you to get a serious buff from her with little work. However, she is extremely hard to get a hold of meaning that Ascending her is difficult. Therefore, she may be better suited as an Assistant General.

Lucilla – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Ambition for Power

Increases ground troops and mounted troops’ attack by 50% and increases ground troops’ defense and HP by 40% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Lucilla will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Ground Troop Attack +15% and Defense +10%.
• 2 Star – Marching Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%.
• 3 Star – Ground Troop Attack +10%, Defense and HP +10%.
• 4 Star – Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack +10% and HP +10%.
• 5 Star – Ground Troop Attack +25%, Defense and HP +15%.

Lucilla – Specialities

These skills are unlocked once the Evony General reaches level 25. They can be expensive to develop, requiring Gems and Runestones. Read our Evony General Guide for more details.

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
