What is the Evony Treasure Hunt Event

The Evony Treasure Hunt is similar to the Arctic Barbarians Invasion. However, in this event, you are tasked with exploring ancient Egyptian pyramids to find special treasures which will give you points instead of attacking and occupying Barbarian Castles.

The event typically alternates with the Barbarian Arctic Invasion event every other headline event period so you will see it come up quite regularly. Scoring well has a chance to give you a serious amount of Gems so it is well worth putting in a bit of effort to ensure you hit at least some of these.

Evony Treasure Hunt Event

During the event time, you will find pyramids from levels 1 to 5 spawning around the map. They typically remain for around 4 hours after spawning or until someone has completed their exploration. To explore them, simply select the pyramid and click on the ‘Explore’ button like you would with a Relic.

To find a pyramid you need to manually search around the map like you do with Boss Monsters or for Resource Spots. The higher-level pyramids offer the best points and therefore it can be quite competitive to find these before someone else does. Alternatively, if you buy the level 5 package during the event, you will be given a Pharoes Map which will spawn you a random pyramid and give you a large amount of event points.

Exploring Evony Treasure Hunt Pyramids

As mentioned in the previous section, Treasure Hunt Pyramids can spawn between levels 1 to 5. The higher the level of the pyramid, the greater the number of points you can earn from exploring it. This is driven by the different treasures that can be found in the pyramids, with higher-level pyramids containing rarer treasures. You will also gain Resources when exploring.

In addition, pyramids have a certain number of Exploration Points depending on their level. This basically determines how long it can be explored before being completed. This number directly corresponds to troop load and therefore if the pyramid has 480k Exploration Points you would just need to send a march with a load of 480k to explore it completely.

You can also explore pyramids with your allies. However, they will also contribute towards the exploration points which will reduce the amount that you personally explore and therefore the point-scoring treasures that you find. In the table below you will see details on the exploration points available for each pyramid level, how long it takes to explore each when solo, and the max number of ally members that can join you.

Please note that other players can attack you when exploring pyramids during this event so you need to be careful or confident that a server NAP will hold. It is recommended to send just enough low-level Troops to cover the number of exploration points with their load. There is also no need to send a General, this will not impact your exploration speed or the treasures that you find.

Evony Treasure Hunt Points

When exploring pyramids you will be rewarded with resources and treasures for your efforts. For the purposes of the event, the treasures are what you care about as these give you points that contribute towards your total score and therefore your rewards.

You will find rarer treasures that reward more points in higher-level pyramids. In addition, you will also find more treasures in higher-level pyramids due to their higher number of available Exploration Points. The table below outlines the different treasures that can be found in each pyramid and the corresponding points each will give you.

Evony Treasure Hunt Exploring Limit

Unfortunately, you cannot explore an unlimited number of pyramids each day of the event. Indeed, you are limited to a total of 20. However, this is still a pretty good number that should allow you to rack up a significant score.

How to Get Evony Treasure Hunt Pharaoh’s Map

If you are a coiner then there is one way to easily build up a high score and that is by using a Pharaoh’s Map. These are obtained by buying the level 5 package and when used will reward you with around 50M points and spawn you a random pyramid you can explore on the map. This does unfortunately mean that it is pretty much impossible for non-coniners to win this event outright.

Evony Treasure Hunt Rewards

Although this is a difficult event to win without spending money, the individual rewards can still be pretty significant. In particular, you can win a serious amount of Gems by just passively taking part in this event.

Rewards are split out into 4 categories with prizes for hitting monarch score milestones, alliance score milestones, overall alliance rank, and for your overall place in the event. Next up in this Evony Treasure Hunt Guide lets take a look at all these rewards.

Evony Treasure Hunt Monarch Rank Rewards

These rewards are distributed based on your total points at the end of the event versus all other players in your server. Those that finish in the top 10 will get rewards with first place getting a massive 300k Gems. Rewards can include the following:

• Alliance Honor
• Alliance Points
• Resources
• Speedups
• Dragon Source Fragments
• Tactic Scrolls
• Treasure Boxes

Evony Treasure Hunt Allaince Rank Rewards

These rewards are distributed based on your alliance’s total points at the end of the event versus all other alliances in your server. Those that finish in the top 10 will get rewards. Rewards can include the following:

• Gems
• Alliance Honor
• Alliance Points
• Resources
• Speedups
• Dragon Source Fragments
• Tactic Scroll
• Treasure Boxes

Evony Treasure Hunt Monarch Milestone Rewards

These rewards are paid out for hitting certain personal point milestones during the event. Rewards can include Gems, Resources, Speedups, Treasure Boxes, Refining Stones, and Soul Crytals. In particular, the Gem rewards can be quite significant and this is what most players will be targeting. See below for what you can expect at each point milestone.

That is an enormous 149k Gems just from your own personal monarch score. Even better, this can be done completely F2P if you have enough time to grind out daily explorations during the event.

These rewards are paid out for hitting certain alliance point milestones during the event. The rewards here are just resources and nothing to get excited about. They are paid out at the following milestones:

• 150M Alliance Points
• 200M Alliance Points
• 300M Alliance Points
• 500M Alliance Points
• 1B Alliance Points

Evony Treasure Hunt Tips

Lastly in this Evony Treasure Hunt Guide we will outline some quick tips that will help you in the event. Following should help you get towards the magic 500M point score and maximize your rewards. Good luck Monarch!

• Solo explore – you only have 20 exploration events a day and exploring alone will maximize the points you earn from each one. If an ally comes they will take some of the treasures you would have otherwise found.
• Focus on high-level pyramids – it’s best to only explore pyramids above level 3. Those below this give such low points that barely make a dent and it is not worth your time.
• Upgrade your research – upgrading Mysterious Relic Exploration in the Alliance research tree a the Academy will increase the number of treasures you find when exploring.
• Don’t send your best Generals – during the event it is possible another player will attack the pyramid you are exploring. Sending a General makes no difference to your exploration, apart from improving troop load in some cases, and it is, therefore, best not to send one so as they don’t get killed or captured.
• Don’t send a full march – as above, only send enough Troops to cover the pyramid exploration points with their troop load. This should also be the weakest Troops you have. Doing this ensures you don’t have your best Troops all wiped out in an attack by an enemy.
• Create server rules – organize a server-wide rule that prohibits any attacks on the pyramids. This will help a lot in ensuring that players can explore pyramids safely and help the whole server get stronger for Server Wars.
