Is Honda Tadakatsu a good general in Evony?

Honda Tadakatsu is a pure Evony Attack Sub City General. He is great against Ground Troops due to his HP debuff. However, there are better options available if you can get your hands on them.

Honda Tadakatsu – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Mikawa General

Reduces enemy ground troops and mounted troops’ HP by 15% and increases your mounted troops’ attack by 15% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Honda Tadakatsu will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Enemy Mounted Troop Defense -15% and HP -15%.
• 2 Star – Increases Troop Death into Wounded Rate by 8% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 3 Star – When General is launching Alliance War, Rally Capacity +6%.
• 4 Star – Mounted Troop Defense +20% and HP +20%.
• 5 Star – Mounted Troop Attack +10%, Mounted Troop Defense and HP +10%.

Honda Tadakatsu – Specialities

These skills are unlocked once the Evony General reaches level 25. They can be expensive to develop, requiring Gems and Runestones. Read our Evony General Guide for more details.

It is a good idea to focus your sub-cities on building one troop type and tilting the general build towards this.
