How to Increase your Evony Monarch Level Fast

In Evony, your Monarch Level is a hugely important factor to consider when planning out the best ways to improve your account. It has a direct impact on the Talent Buffs you can pick for your Monarch, with each level granting you 1 more Talent Point to spend, and the max level of your Generals being directly tied to your Monarch Level. In this Evony Guide, we will cover all the best ways to increase your Monarch Level fast, from taking advantage of specific events to being active with daily offerings.

First Down Rewards

You will receive a First Down Reward the first time you kill either a Boss Monster or a Normal Monster. This typically grants Prestige, Resources, and a decent amount of Monarch EXP. Of course, however, this is not a consistent way to earn large amounts of Monarch EXP every day, however, in the early days of an Evony Account, it is a fast way to gain an early boost to your Monarch Level.

Offering at the Shrine

Offering at the Shrine is something you should be doing every day anyway for the rewards and Prestige gains, but it also just so happens that it is also a brilliant place to gain a lot of Monarch EXP to increase your level. Each offering, either with Gems or Tributes, will grant a fixed amount of EXP that will depend on a couple of things:

• Shrine Level – Monarch EXP gain increases with your Shrine Level.
• Offering Talent – at its max level of 4, you gain an additional 20% to Monarch EXP and Prestige with each offer.

Both of the above are vitally important to take advantage of if you are seeking to increase your Evony Monarch Level as fast as possible. However, in particular, ensuring your Shrine level is as high as possible will bring the biggest gains. The Monarch EXP you will gain at each level of your Shrine per offering is as follows:

To fully take advantage of these Offering Monarch EXP gains it is a good idea to buy Tributes from your Alliance Shop and the Black Market. This is a much more efficient way than using your Gems. Nevertheless, Spending Gems is also recommended at least 6 times a day, however, after this point the Gem cost does become a bit high for most (this resets each day):

Boss Monsters and Hydras

Each time you kill a Boss Monster you will gain a small amount of Monarch EXP. However, there are some, more than others, that you should focus on in particular for the best Monarch EXP gains. These include Hydras which have guaranteed Monarch EXP in their chests. The Monarch EXP in each of these is as follows:

• Level 1 – 5k
• Level 2 – 8k
• Level 3 – 12k
• Level 4 – 16k
• Level 5 – 17k

On top of the above, they also drop Chips for the Wheel of Fortune where Monarch EXP is a regular prize and have the usual Monarch EXP gain for simply killing them.

Normal Monsters

Aside from Boss Monsters, killing Normal Monsters is easily the fastest way to gain Monarch EXP to level your Evony Account. Although the Monarch EXP gained for each kill is comparably small, you are able to rack up a huge number of kills in a short amount of time simply due to the large numbers of them that are on the map. However, as your Monarch Level begins to creep up, it is recommended to only kill levels 31 and above as below this the Monarch EXP gain is not worth the stamina cost:

Crazy Eggs

The Crazy Eggs Event sees you collecting hammers and then using these to crack open 4 different eggs for a chance at rewards. This is a super easy event to take part in and if you are active then you should be able to crack open them all every day. However, for the purposes of increasing your Monarch EXP, the following eggs should be focused on:

• Princess Lucy Egg Cracked – 60k Monarch EXP
• Princess Lucy Egg Activated – 60k Monarch EXP
• James Bowie Egg Activated – 45k Monarch EXP
• Isabella I Egg Activated – 75k Monarch EXP
• Minamoto no Yoshitsune Egg Activated – 75k Monarch EXP
• Caesar Egg Activated – 65k Monarch EXP

Dwarf’s Lucky Apple

Like the Crazy Eggs Event, the Dwarf’s Lucky Apple Event is another place to gain consistent and easy Monarch EXP. Whilst the event is active, you have the chance to find Lucky Apples when Killing Monsters or Gathering at Resource Spots. These can then be used to make a wish with the Dwarf. There are 3 options each costing either 1,3, or 5 Lucky Apples. For Monarch EXP you want to focus on the Lucky Apple – Welath which costs just 1 Lucky Apple. This has the chance to grant you 22.5k Monarch EXP with each wish.

Gathering

When Gathering at resource spots from level 13 or above there is a chance to find Monarch EXP. At resource spots ranging from level 13 to 15, you can find 10k Monarch EXP, and at level 16 you can find 20k Monarch EXP. Of course, this is not the fastest way to increase your Monarch EXP and you are better off using other methods when actively in the game.

Buying Packs

Lastly in this list of the best ways to increase your Monarch Level Fast let’s cover a method for those willing to spend a little money and in particular on the event packs. These grant huge amounts of Monarch EXP, especially at the higher tiers and when used with Double Down or Triple Down Coupons. The amount of Monarch EXP you can gain from each pack is as follows:

• $4.99 – 40,000 EXP
• $9.99 – 100,000 EXP
• $19.99 – 200,000 EXP
• $49.99 – 600,000 EXP
• $99.99 – 1,250,000 EXP

What to Avoid

Aside from the methods above, there are some other ways that players may be tempted to use to increase their Evony Monarch Level that we would actually recommend against utilizing. These are as follows:

• Gems in the Black Market – Monarch EXP can be bought in the Black Market in exchange for Gems. Never waste your Gems on Monarch EXP here, check out our guide on the Best Ways to Spend Gems for a better use of this premium currency.
• Battlefield Shops – Monarch EXP can be bought in the Battlefield Shops however, again, this is a waste of the rare currencies used here with the other items available almost always offering better value. Indeed, events such as BoC and BoG are difficult events occurring just once a week meaning this currency should never be used flippantly.
• Event Shops – There are many events in Evony, such as the Revelation of Maya, which grant special Event Currencies to be spent in an Event Shop. There are always some great items available but you will also often see Monarch EXP. Never be tempted to buy it, instead ensure you are focusing on the much rarer items available.
