Is Mason Weaver a good general in Evony?

Mason Weaver was the second General released as part of Evony’s first ever crossover event with Kong Skull Island. She is quite jarring with the theme of Evony in that she is carry modern technology (a camera) in her picture and also is not any kind of military or political leader. However, despite this, she has many uses in the game and should be considered for use if you get hold of her.

In particular, she is best used with Ranged Troops as either Ranged PvP General or a Wall Defense General. In both of these roles, she brings a high attack buff to the table, but you must pair her with a Dragon or Spiritual Beast to make the most of her Special Skill. In addition, as a premium General, she will be hard to get copies of for Ascension and therefore may be best used as an Assistant General.

Mason Weaver – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Friend of Kong

Increases ranged troops and siege machines’ attack by 20% when General is leading the army. Increases ranged troops and siege machines’ defense and HP by 25% when General brings any dragon or Spiritual Beast.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Mason Weaver will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +5% and Defense +5%.
• 2 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +10%.
• 3 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +10% and HP +5%.
• 4 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense +15% and HP +15%.
• 5 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +15%.

Ranged PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very range heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ranged attack and ranged HP via equipment refines and skill books.

This build will ensure you do maximum damage, especially in the early game when players are quite mounted heavy, whilst also maintaining a very durable ranged march.

Ranged Defense

Range defense build for players who are very range-focused or do not want the gem repair cost associated with siege machines. Although not as powerful as a siege defense, it is still very effective.
