Is Robert the Bruce a good general in Evony?

Robert the Bruce is one of the most versatile Ground Generals in the game. He can be used as both a defense general and an attacking general. He also works well when mixed with mounted troops in defense.

His high HP stats for both these troop types makes them very durable.

Robert the Bruce – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Indomitable Battleaxe

Increases ground troops and mounted troops’ attack by 15% and increases ground troops’ HP by 25% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Robert the Bruce will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense +10% and HP +5%.
• 2 Star – Increases Troop Death into Wounded Rate by 10% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 3 Star – March Size Capacity +14%.
• 4 Star – Ground Troop Attack +15%, Ground Troop and Mounted Troop HP +10%.
• 5 Star – Ground Troop Attack +15%, Defense and HP +10%.

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General.

It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.

• Lvl 4 Ground Troop Attack – Ground Attack +25%
• Lvl 4 Ground Troop HP – Ground HP +25%
• Lvl 4 Ground Troop Speed – Ground Speed +20%
• Equipment Refines:

Mounted and Ground PvP

This build works best for players who have a good mix of Mounted and Ground troops. It adds mounted troop HP to help the mounted troops survive the attacks from ranged troops.

The ground troops also see their HP and Speed increase in order to reach the enemy intact and fast.
